Today we are looking at a mini electric bike that is small in size, and relatively light on your wallet. It's the DYU D3F Mini Folding Electric bike.
I’m skeptical if this little thing can live up to the claims DYU is making. Like a pedal assist range of 30-37 miles, or the ability to climb a 15-degree grade. They say don’t judge a package by its size though so no going easy on this little e-bike!

I have dyu v1 since 2018 and still work fine untill today. 24kmh and 22km distance. Really light weight.
Great to hear! Our range test was close to that as well, so it seems consistent.
I bought 3 white in 2017, black 2018 and limited edition red 2020 from factory in China. I still use them every day. Everyone who sees it loves it. You will love it!
Glad to hear you enjoy them!
One of the best reviews, thanks
Thanks!
Very detailed and interesting review, well played sir.
Thanks!
Good honest review. Definitely for smaller riders to just tool around.
Yes, I agree, and maybe the odd short commute if you needed too!
I live in a fairly hilly area, does anyone recommend a mini e-bike that is okay with hills? Thanks
Is the DYU D3F+ more powerful than D3F?
They changed the frame to Aluminum alloy
Greetings from the Philippines
Hello! I can only find online info for a model referred to as the "DYU D3+" Is this the same model you're referring to? If so it is the same as the DYU D3F and has a 250W motor. All specs appear identical to the model we tested. Interesting the frame is Aluminum Alloy, which should reduce weight as our test model has a steel frame.
The Jetson. Pro version of this has the brakes in the correct area but the battery is much smaller 6ah. It's also cheaper. Usually around 300 USD.
Awesome that's great to know!
Jetson Bolt is DyU knockoff has a lot of problems.. I bought 3 2017, 2018 and 2020 and only had two flats because hit a curb too hard. C
Cim short this would be ideal except i want it for grass mud so can anyone advise a bike this size but with wider tyers, that is also suitable for off road use.
Whats the DYU D3F+ about? Worth getting over this?
I can only find info about the "DYU d3+" this appears to be the exact same model of bike with no changes (other than an aluminum alloy frame vs steel, possibly based on other users reviews)
So it seems this is just a different name for a different market, but the same bike. Possibly due to copyright or some other issue.
I have seen this exact bike under different brands and names so it is pretty widely produced.
@@BikeRidecom Thank you very much for the information
@@FlamespeedyAMV No problem!
Does it have pure electric mode
Yes it does, the throttle will power the bike with no pedal input for pure electric riding
The battery is actually replaceable 😊
Did you get a battery replaced on your bike? Thats good to hear if so, was it a warranty replacement? Or what was the cost of the new battery? Good info!
Battery busted after 400km
That sucks! I was concerned about this bike and its integrated battery. Did the bike or battery get replaced under warranty? I am interested to know if the battery can be removed in any way.
@@BikeRidecom no it wasn’t. I can’t find replacement battery
Smesno 😂😂😂
