    I was a police officer for 28 years in one of the third largest cities in the country. I can't count how many times I and other officers working the PM & morning watch would have given up our stream lights for night vision equipment. Thank you for this video and for your service to your country.

    Never heard of. Mr Doyle? He’s the real deal in the world of trainers. Get the latest issue of. Tactical Life and educate your self.
    21 years in the USMC, 17 of which were as a Special Operations MOS. Retired as a Master Sgt.
    He’s not some candy ass You Tube ninja wannabe running around dressed in the latest 5.11 wear.
    Mr Doyle’s enemies shot back, he’s here , they’re not. That should tell you something about his skill set.
    Mr Doyle doesn’t slap his name on Products to make a “Buck”, pardon the pun. If you see his name associated with a product, it’s like money in the bank as far as practicality.
    Do a Google search to read up on his training center located in Utah.

    I saw what looked like the m14, and an m4 with a scope, but what was Buck's main rifle? Mk12? Or do you get to put together your own type of recce rifle?

    • @thisghy8126
      @thisghy8126 8 років тому

      Zach Conant probably just an issued one for whatever role he's fullfilling, m14 guy is the designated marksman, he might be the navigation guy or security etc.

    • @zachconant7031
      @zachconant7031 8 років тому +1

      thisghy Yea, someone told me (idk if its true) that a lot of the seals don't really like the mk12 and so they use recce style lighter versions of the mk12, hence recce.

    • @spoeny
      @spoeny 8 років тому +6

      JohnnyUtah71 because the big long range optic occupies the central spot on the rifle, iron sights are installed to the right of it. So engage targets at longer ranges with the optic, and rotate the rifle to engage targets at shorter ranges with the iron sights.

    • @JohnnyUtah71

    Informative video. Guy knows his stuff, obviously. However, you don't look to LE to protect you and your family; you're always responsible for that and are the front line of defense. LE is backup-always.
    I believe it's safe to say he'd agree with my assertions. I understand what he's getting at. It's just that he framed it poorly, painting with a broad stroke.
    Yes, we need to constantly train. But to give someone the idea that he or she cannot effectively save someone's life without constant training is bullshit. Again, the statement was too black-and-white.
    I'd like to see more videos from him on techniques.

      Prodigysportsman With respect they are because if they need this capability and they do because over 70% of all active shooter situations within pass decade occurred in night time or low light areas and it is even more important now for law enforcement to be able to operate under those conditions otherwise you will see more innocents that will get killed in future firefights because law enforcement did have the proper equipment or training to be able to effectively discriminate armed combatant from the innocent population and especially now days that is necessity to be able to have that proper target discrimination with all the tensions between law enforcement and the communities they protect require a more efficient and smarter law enforcement this is just one of those methods to get there.

  • @cottontop912

    Did I hear you say that you rely on law enforcement to protect your family and all of us? That’s a dangerous way of thinking in my opinion. As a father, husband, provider and protector, it is my responsibility to protect and defend my family. Period.
