I remembered drawing, and was listening to Spotify shuffle, and I passed by this song. It was really good. It made me cry for some reason lmao.
After months, a line of this song crossed my mind “ I got you, and you got me ohhh ” and I tried finding the song. It took me a year actually smh. But at the end, it was all worth it!!

Amazing song
To the people saying they should be sued for plagiarism, that is absolutely ridiculous. You guys don't know much about plagiarism if you think that just because one line of the melody sounds like another song, or the vibe is similar to Wake Me Up by Avicii it means they "stole the song". It's not about the individual notes of a melody! It's about the song as a whole. Their lyrics are completely their own, and their combination of the melody and the overall feel make it their own. I think y'all just have something against Cimorelli or something. As an aspiring songwriter I find inspiration in all sorts of places. I'll hear a song and think "oh, I think that kind of a feel would go great with these lyrics I'm writing". That doesn't mean I'm copying someone else's work. That means I admire what they've done with music and use the inspiration I've gotten to create something completely unique. Think a little.
***** True, copying melodies is definitely not okay. I just don't get the people who are saying that it sounds a bit like another song so it's plagiarism. Yeah, pretty much every pop song uses the same chord progression, and the "song production" basically turns it into this auto-tuned, robotic mess that isn't even real MUSIC. What sets Cimorelli apart from all that for me is their creativity, the fact that they actually write their own songs out of personal experiences, and just their relationships as sisters. I mean, if you want to hate on people, start with the worthless celebrities. Not this adorable sister group.
I don't even think that Cimorelli has realized that it sounds similar to wake me up by avicii, I don't think that they "stole" the melody. (no negativity to you btw) I fully agree to you so :)

I think TGSBM is a bit expected in the content and a really simple music. I mean, nothing new or special.
The first impression I had from I got you instead was that it was just a mix between Wake me up and Really don't care. But now that I've listened to it many times I think it's a freestanding well-structured and varieted song. Much better than Really don't care! It's engaging, powerful and has a meaning.

It's good to see all their voices have matured and gotten better (especially Dani and Amy's got more powerful). All these people saying Lisa should go solo are not thinking clearly. If you listen to this song especially you realize EVERY member has a significant and different voice. Anyone of these ladies would do good solo but what makes them who they are is how they all sound together. With such different voices they blend so nice together. I am glad to see more of Amy solo parts and her and Lauren you can tell are getting more powerful although Lisa does have the most powerful voice in the group. Dani has gotten SO much better (probably something with going through puberty etc.) but it def shows.
