I plan on moving up into PA as soon as i possibly can. I already live in Northern Maryland, 15 minutes from the PA line. So it will be a very simple move, keep my job, still close to family, and be in a state that is 2A friendly. Open carry with just your HQL.
Moved to PA back in 2002, they were very pro 2A back then, but have gotten a little worse over time, I actually lived 6 miles over the MD line, moved to VA in 09 and so far so good. Don't miss MD at all, it was nice in the 60's and 70's but started nosediving in the 80's to the shit hole it is today.
Not sure if you've thought about western Pennsylvania, but it's fantastic out in this side. I've open carried in downtown Pittsburgh and even had members of the public thank me for it. A PA 'license to carry firearms' is $25 and it takes 10 minutes to get it. I grew up in Maryland and moved out 10 years ago.

My buddy paid just over $200k for his 3 bed, 2 bath, 2 story house on 1/3 acre in New Freedom PA, in 2020. That same set up would cost $300k down here.

I was interested in getting an out of state MD CC license, thus being able to carry a firearm legally in MD, VA and WV, so the entire route I travel to and from work. What class, if any, is available for me t take in order to CC in MD as an out of state resident?? Also am I correct in recalling that only open carry is leagl in VA without a license??
It's the same for us residents as it is for non-residents..... Just go-to the MSP license portal, get trained (if applicable) and get yours too 👍 Very easy 👍

I am visiting md right now ( seeing my folks) lived here for 12 years. Now live in TEXAS and I thank God every ddodlllt I do.

Yeah, Open Carry is a thing in VA, not sure whether it applies to Out of Staters or just VA residents.
