First of all, thank you for sharing scripture. His word will not come back void. Secondly, you have a beautiful home. Thank you for sharing. Blessings.
Regarding the tapestry strip w/ brass ends, I was thinking curtain holder for pulling back the drapes to let in the light. Some were quite long and detailed to accommodate elaborate full draperies/curtains. My knowledge on bell callers is limited but I was under the impression that those were more narrow and the sculptural details wouldn’t be so elaborate at the connection point towards the top/ceiling. Just throwing it out there as a point of contention. I in no way claim any level of expertise. Whatever its purpose, it is STUNNING!!!!!❤❤❤ Thanks for the video jam packed with drool worthy finds and displays. I love this type of walk through footage for any type of antique/vintage event! Keep ‘em coming!❤❤
It's because it's not a "real" bell pull. They were a pretty common needlecraft project in the 60s and 70s and even into the 80s. They generally came in a kit, complete with the velvet backing, the cord for the edging and the fancy hardware at each end. They were purely decorative. They also sold some already made, like this one, of tapestry and I think they were even sold in the home decor catalog parties.
Wow!! You found some wonderful items!! Love the needlepoint pillows! Perfect on the white chairs. I agree the tapestry is a bell pull. Everything looks beautiful in your home. I’m a little disappointed you didn’t purchase the gorgeous $25 chair. I suppose you have to have a space for it. It was fun to tag along!! What a comfort to give our cares and worries to the Lord. God bless.
Elizabeth, I was amazed to see so many of my wedding presents “circa 1968” on the tables. From mixing bowls, crockery, display bowls and vases. Talk about a trip down memory lane. Who would have expected to see the same stuff in the US as was the fashion here in Oz back then. Thanks for the memories. Thank you for another fun day thrifting. 🦘🇦🇺
Those pillows really are beautiful with your chairs you have. I love the way you decorated your bookcase! I especially love the beautiful picture of a couple out on a farm.❤
The picture is called “The Angelus”. The church bell in the background was rung at noon for prayer. It has a partner named “The Gleaners” which shows peasants combing fields for grain or corn left behind after the field has been harvested. I grew up in Iowa farm country.
Thank you for taking me to the flea market with you today, I enjoyed it! 😊 I also appreciate so much that you show us where you put these things. Love your channel!
I would have bought that bell pull so fast. I did a needlepoint bell pull backed in velvet back in the 70's. I saw a sewing machine I wish you would have shown and I've started collecting jadeite.
Wonderful flea market. I love that you have a place for everything you purchase and not buy just because you like it and then don’t know what to do with it like I do. 😊
That Flea Market looked awesome...would love to go there one day!! Loved the piano stool, matchsafes & needlepoint pillows you looked at...oh wait, looks like you bought the pillows YAY! (🤣guess I should wait to comment until I've seen the haul😂)
Love flea markets❤ fond memories of going with my husband, and my daughters when they were small. Unfortunately, my husband has passed away and my children are all grown up as well as my grandchildren😢 but I have a little shop by me that I visit at times I also have my memories, and I can bring them back in a moments notice. Just thinking about the wonderful times that I had with my family. Life goes by so fast. How did I end up being 72?😅 have a blessed weekend. Stay safe, Otis🐶 and me Massachusetts… I also put vintage postcards in frames; hang or set in my house❤ I also collect Wattware. My grandmother always had it on her table with a big helping of spaghetti/pasta on a Sunday.. I have numerous pieces that I collected over the years.
I recognized that flea market! Burley Park! I was there with my husband. I almost bought that small picture you purchased with the man and women in the fields, but I got distracted and left it behind. It was sooooo dusty there! But I still had a wonderful time looking for treasures!
How fun to ride along on your shopping adventures. I have fun seeing some of the things that I have similar to what is there. I inherited many things from my grandmother years ago. I have an old leather strap of jingle bells.
Elizabeth, You displayed your wonderful finds so beautifully! The pillows are gorgeous! What a fun day! Thank you for taking us along! That looked like a great flea and antique open air market! I would have definitely picked up that chair for $25. Lol Shari
Thank you Elizabeth and Family for Taking Us Along with You to the Amazing Flea Market Great Finds Elizabeth I was saying those are match stick holders when you were asking the Lady what they were. Truly Enjoyed going to a Flea Market. Have a Awesome New Week Ahead ❤️ Hugs 🤗 from California
The scripture you added at the end of video , 1 Peter 5-7 was really meant for me ! I got some disturbing news about my mom , who’s been in hospital since 12/18/2023 has now been transferred to our hometown. It’s going to take a miracle to help my mom, 2 toes on left leg were amputated, her right leg was amputated 2015 ! Seems like no circulation, causing infection in toes , when I heard that , my world crashed, then you showed the message “ give God all your troubles or problems “ like something had relieved me , thank you so much ! More than often our doors close & others open we just don’t realize it 🙏🏼😢
Hello, thank you for sharing and I am so sorry your mom is going through this. I can feel how hard it is on you too. His word is so comforting. He reaches us in all sorts of ways, He is with you 🙏
Oh my goodness Eliz, I also went to the BP flea market that day! That would have been so neat to see you there! I loved that gold mirror and tried to talk the lady down but she wouldn't do it. Then at the end after my sister and I were ready to go I decided to run back and see if it was still there but she had sold it (darn)! 😩. Also I'm pretty sure I bought that one duck you picked up and liked. 😂 Watching your video I see so much that I missed. I loved those blue & white pitchers! ❤
That long narrow tapestry looks like a table runner but rather one you'd put on a long buffet. I would have used it for mine that were from the late 1800's.
Love all of your finds. I have the same picture with other similar pictures on my wall. Which flea market was this? And do you ever go to the Trufant flea market on Thursdays and Isabella County fairgrounds flea market on Wednesdays? I’m curious how big they are.
What a wonderful antique/flea market! I felt like I was with you! You did a great job of giving us an overview of things and you covered everything very well. So much fun! I just wish I'd ACTUALLY bern there - so many things I'd love to have grabbed that we don't see much of where I am and, when we do, the prices are sky high! Lucky you - great stuff AND great prices! I was drooling over the all the blue striped crockery and the yellow ware bowls. I winced when you said you wished you'd picked up one of the blue pitchers - I'd have wanted to grab them all! But I'm excessive that way! Haha If forced to choose, I'd have grabbed the one you were studying. I was also pining over the bunch of white/cream pitchers at the beginning. Loved all the things you picked up. And loved where you tucked them. They looked like they'd always been there, in those spots - in THEIR spots! At least for now...😂 I don't think I've said so, but I want you to know how much I appreciate how you end every video with scripture and a lovely illustrative video clip. Thank you.
I love the vintage lamp shade with the fringe on the bottom! Wish I was there saw so many things I would’ve loved to have purchased! Mind you, I’m on a budget, so deciding what I truly want, would have been a problem!
I see a lot of people said bell pull. I saw one on a trip last weekend, it was very old and very expensive, but beautiful! The only other time I've seen one was on an episode of The Honeymooners. 😂
That blue & white cornflower urn is so pretty. I've even seen them at TJ Max. I bought a whole dish set for my friend years ago. You go to the best flea markets & thrift stores . I like farmhouse black & white mixed w/ old so I cringed when you painted the chandelier gold but it's perfect w/ your style. Your kids are so good & your husband helpful.
That huge eagle on the table is what people put on their homes or garage to represent they are mortgage free! Their home is paid for! I saw that on TikTok so it must be true, right? 😁
I have never heard that! And I've known lots of people with eagles who also still had mortgages! We had one at one point growing up and we even had one on the house we rented while we were building - no idea if that house was mortgage free since it wasn't even ours! 😂
My Mom collected Jadite, milk glass, and when I was young until I got married, she collected Rose of Sharon or Cabbage Rose in Pink for me..just to name a few, she had a Beautiful collection of McCoy Vases as well .. I love them dearly but since she moved to Heaven recently, they are even more precious.
So many treasures, I was drooling 😄 Awesome, flea market!! You got some lovely finds. I saw a few more I would have snatched up, but within my budget, of course.
It’s definitely a tapestry bell pull for ringing the servants.
That’s a bell pull for summoning the staff 😂
People with passion for artifects are those who are passionate for fellow human beings!,you are one of them,Elizabeth.
First of all, thank you for sharing scripture. His word will not come back void. Secondly, you have a beautiful home. Thank you for sharing. Blessings.
It’s my honor to bring Him glory Laura ❤️

That is also a very good guess!

I think that fabric thingy was a bell pull used to call the butler it was attached to a bell that rang when you pulled it as it hung on the wall
So many treasures there! I love antiques, especially furniture and pottery! 😍 Thank you for the market tour! Greetings from Vancouver!
Wow!! You found some wonderful items!! Love the needlepoint pillows! Perfect on the white chairs. I agree the tapestry is a bell pull. Everything looks beautiful in your home. That chair was beautiful and yes, no room in the car or at home sadly!
I have never seen so many beautiful antiques in one flea market. You have made amazing displays. I love your style. ❤
So glad you enjoyed watching this shop with me Donna! More to come 🤗

I love the picture and those pillows you bought. The pillows are beautiful on your chairs!
The pillows were just too gorgeous to leave behind. I was a little nervous about cleaning them, but I think they turned out pretty good!
New viewer.. love your verse at the end of the videos. 💕 lots of great decor ideas!

The pillows my favorite. They are so perfect with your checked ones. Love. ♥️. So fun.

I’m glad you didn’t Shelly! Lol! It was horrible… I’m not sure if we’ll go back. They really need to do something about the dust.

I believe that tapestry is a bell pull to call for the servants. Quite Victorian. 😊great finds, great flea market. Thanks for Shar your day. 😊❤😊🙏
Enjoyed this video! New subbie😊
Thank you for the message at the end, it ministered to me ❤
I see a lot of people said bell pull. I saw one on a trip last weekend, it was very old and very expensive, but beautiful! The only other time I've seen one was on an episode of The Honeymooners. 😂
Yes, I had no idea! This one looked very new… so not sure how authentic it was.
I’m always grateful for the scripture at the end. Lao where is this flea market and how would I find out about it. It looks like a great one.
Just realized it was probably Yoders?

I just love all your videos 💜⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I loved the chair for 25.00. You definitely good some good stuff🩵
That’s chair was so pretty. I wonder if it was a real antique or reproduction. I didn’t get to inspect it very well.
Enjoyed
That was a good flea market! My favorite piece is the framed print. Also I love your matching arm chairs, do you have a link for those?
So jelly of your finds and that market.
Elizabeth, thanks for sharing all of the treasures at the flea market! Please dear, stop picking up those boats by the masts!
I live on the west coast. Could you share where this flea market was? It would be fun to travel and check it out in the future.
Beautiful finds and beautiful peaceful video ☺️💕
So glad you enjoyed Gina!
Hi, I’m new to your channel. Where is this flea market at city and state?
My Mom collected Jadite, milk glass, and when I was young until I got married, she collected Rose of Sharon or Cabbage Rose in Pink for me..just to name a few, she had a Beautiful collection of McCoy Vases as well .. I love them dearly but since she moved to Heaven recently, they are even more precious.
Tapestry wall hanging. It’s beautiful.
Very nice deco!!
The narrow tapestry is a wall hanging
Actually they are called bell pulls. It’s beautiful!
Wowza!
Thanx for your time.
How did you clean the needlepoint pillows
I washed them with oxiclean and dried them on high and then went back over with oxiclean spray and hand scrubbed them.
Where was this flea market? Such great stuff!!
Near Lakeview.
The tapestry is a bell pull.
Exactly I went there too I went there too I was there too
This is so magical place
Great video 🎉🎉🎉
That's cool... a portuguese goose 😅 Hi from Portugal... ❤😊

At the 19 min mark, those were for stick matches.
So many treasures, I was drooling 😄
Awesome, flea market!!
You got some lovely finds. I saw a few more I would have snatched up, but within my budget, of course.
What state is this flea mark? I want to go.
Lakeview Michigan
I wish I was there
It's a bell pull to serve dinner, turn down beds, for the Victorian wealthy
How did you clean the pillows?
I threw them in the washing machine. 😃
Where is this sale located?
Probably good I don’t have anything like that near me, I would have filled up my car and emptied my wallet😂
Omg that huge crock at 747🥰
It looks like you suffer from the same problem I have, buyer’s remorse 😄. Great haul though!
Hmmm… I don’t think I regretted anything I purchased. Sometimes I regret not buying something though 😆
A lot of stuff I’m into old stuff my aunt is into antiques
12:42 looks like a bell pull
Where is this flea market located
Prices are high but cool stuff.
I thought the opposite 🤔
@@oldmaplehome I guess this one is relative.
this is were the stop signs end up
At $20 each, any of those pitchers were a good buy.
