I won’t shame her for her looks but I will say the “inner ugly” has run deep in the Kardashian/Jenner family for as long as I can remember. I can only imagine how insecure all those women felt when the Kardashian/Jenner’s befriended them, got with their men and paraded them around on their reality show for all to see. They acted as if they had done nothing wrong. What about the young girls that idolized them and altered their looks in hopes to look like them? They had absolutely zero problems when they were the Jonses and were labeled as the beauty/fashion standard. I’m now seeing a huge increase of their products at my local Dollar Tree. I don’t watch them anymore but the only one that I’ve seen lately that has any movement is Kim. Her Skims brand has been picked up by the NBA and Olympics I believe. They have reached a level of success and popularity (WITHOUT talent might I add) that most will only dream of and now it hurts to fall down a peg or two. Welcome to the real world. Hollyweird is fickle. No one stays on top forever and no one (no matter how much money you have) is above reaping the consequences behind decisions they’ve made in the past.

Women being obsessed with their looks, marketing it, then wondering why their looks are being critiqued totally baffles me. Their whole family may be empowered because of their ability to make money (which isn't necessarily a genius gift), but their EQ is so, so low, that I actually feel bad for them. Putting themselves front and center and instead of figuring out their own worth and ignoring the haters, they waste time wondering why as if it isn't obvious. "Poor little rich girl" like Paris Hilton.

Maybe we all struggle from "beauty sickness", but not all of us have made billions from that sickness, or have the privilege of being watched by millions while we cry about not being beautiful enough. It's a real issue but the Kardashian-Jenner clan are not the victims. The smart thing to do is not enable these women. Let's do better. This is on us.

It’s hard to have even an ounce of sympathy for Kylie. She lied about her lips and made 600 million dollars off of that lie while destroying the self esteem of millions of girls and women.
Her self-esteem issues due to her family doesn’t give her sympathy for all the people’s self-esteem she destroyed for her millions of dollars.
It’s about time this family fades far away into the background, maybe then we can go back to beauty standards that don’t involve at least some kind of cosmetic procedure and is a lot more natural.

To be fair, the girl was a minor following the guidance of her mother, Kris Jenner. Kylie had no choice but to go down this path and I do feel for a child forced into stardom and now being told it's all her fault. I think it is more the fault of the adult influence around her than Kylie. Kylie never told ya'll to try sucking your mouth through a tube to get fuller lips, that was a dumb challenge made up by the internet. People need to take some of the accountability they are putting on Kylie. And to be clear, I don't like any of these people, but facts are facts.

I have been Keeping up with the Kardashians over the years. What can I say I’m invested. I wouldn’t call myself a fan. They’ve opened their lives up to world and I watch from time to time. The problem I have with Kylie statement is the idea “ no one says anything”. No one as in who? Her die hard fans definitely came to her defense. But I guess they don’t matter. Listen, I personally think Kyle looks great. She looked beautiful in those pictures with little makeup. She was a young child when her entire life was televised and monetized for everyone's entertainment and her parent's benefit. We turned her into this. I don’t think she looks bad in that picture but because of all the work she’s done she does look older. Back in 2016 so many women looked up to Kylie because they thought she’s so beautiful and confident now after plastic surgery. They wanted to be like her and I had friends who were obsessed and I remember constantly defending her to my coworkers saying her lips were natural and then young women thought I can’t afford plastic surgery so they bought her lip kit.
It sucks she was so insecure but they lie excessively about their work and getting lip filler dissolved is easy what about all her other procedures?
Her and Bella were the women so many young millennials looked up to as the beauty standards and people saw how getting plastic surgery got then fame and popularity and both of these women are admittedly extremely insecure about their physical appearance. It’s sad but at the same time they capitalized off of their altered appearance. This is nothing new but these women are and were held on an extremely high pedestal.

My unpopular opinion is while I don't feel bad for her I have empathy enough to not be ugly and kick anyone while they're down. Kim being an "exotic" looking woman and arguably the most attractive sister at the time, she set the tone for the paradigm of beauty within that family. Looking like a mediocre white girl probably made her question her beauty and getting alot of attention AFTER enhancing her looks gave her a brief small sense of confidence. Now those "fixes" are making her look older and it's hitting her like a ton of bricks. She's wrong for lying about her enhancements but MOST ALL celebrities black, white, and other do. This is nothing new under the sun.
I thought Kylie looked magnificent in that Paris photo. I loved it. She looked like she just woke up, fresh faced, rested, in love, rising out of the ocean like a Siren. She was young when she was influencing people through makeup and to be honest, if she had been plain jane, no one would have reckoned with her. She got her bag and I respect her for it.
