I have the blue F1 quarts and I love it. Perfect size. Amazing timing with the battery. I also have the Mido blue special edition OceanStar automatic and looking to buy Longines Hydro 41mm blue and gold with the blue band but now my Tag battery wore out after 2 and a half years and was thinking of getting the automatic version except that I like blue dial watches. Good review. Thanks.
I would recommend getting a new battery in your F1, that’s the cheapest option and you have a functional watch right away. Then you don’t deplete funds to acquire the Longines down the road.
I bought this exact one at the Athens Greece airport, got it for Euro $1,600 but after VAT refund got for under $1,300 as the USD rate at the time was slight below 1 for 1. I was happy to get a brand new one from an AD at that price.
Thank you. Much of it is finding the watch in the preowned market and haggling. Used watches almost always sell at a discount to MSRP. Some higher end stuff like Rolex or AP, etc. can command a premium but this is the exception. I recommend seeking out deals on places like EBay or Chrono24. Of course due diligence is important!
Loved the video, i just bought this exact same watch a week ago. Would mine be a 2023 production year or a 2022 model? My one has a different clasp to your one. Thanks
@@soundsoserious idk even shitty $100 Pagani have fully mild clasps. Btw Tag Heuer is now installing mild base to this models clasps. The same as it was on previous gen Aquaracers.

That’s a great deal! You got a brand new one from an AD for not much more than a used one.
Great review man, thank you! How can someone get this watch at a larger deal with that price point you mentioned?

Ah ok I see, thanks for the tip!

Good question, is your clasp stamped like mine or milled?
@@soundsoserious mine is the milled clasp
@@sa86647 definitely newer then
Great looking watch, but is the bezel in ceramic? I thought it was steel
It’s ceramic. Great value-add on this version.
Nice piece 🎉
Thank you very much! 😏🤓
I agree. I really like the understated nature of the watch. It reminds me of the Seiko “62 MAS” SPB143J1.
what is ur wrist size? i want to gift my dad this watch, he's 5'7
Hi, 16cm or 6.25 in. 👌🏼
Your seiko looks better 😂
Thank u! 😉
Nobody watching here knows that that sla055 seiko beats out most divers in that price range. I would rather have that than a submariner.
With all due respect: 🎓
100% better than most luxury watches
NICE
So nice
Whats ur wrist size?
16cm
That Hydroconquest has this covered...
Yeah it does doesn’t it? I’m a Heuer fan but the Longines is dominating my wrist lately.
@@soundsoserious it's a nice piece. Hard to take mine off.
Agree, basically the perfect watch. Very undervalued compared to so much of the other junk that’s hyped tbh.
@@soundsoserious totally agree and I get so many comments when I wear it.
@@soundsoserious Like the BB58, right?
A beautiful watch. But the clasp is really a piece of crap for that money.
lol, I’d agree on the looks and I’d say the clasp is “adequate” which is a notch or two above crap; but yes they need to fix it lol
