I have the LIMITED ADDITION ARYTON SENNA .. it's the best looking TAG WATCH .. and it looks better then the 5000 dollar Carrera watches .. I only wear it on the weekends but what a watch it is .. CHEERS
@@l_poci_bro the moonwatches you're refeering to are 250€ pieces of plastix that anyone can afford. This watch si 2500€ of course it's gonna sell less
Stunning watch and quartz movements are more accurate, we do offer finance on this model up to 60 months which would work out as £24 pm, however, if you'd prefer an automatic watch, we have plenty on offer for around the same money, the F1 Cal.7 Twin-Time, for example, is £1650 currently or if you'd be interested in another brand, Oris have some great auto models, and you can never go wrong with Seiko!
My dad bought me this exact watch. It is a hefty price tag, but it is beautiful on the wrist and I get a lot of compliments for it from non-watch people who wouldn't know the difference between an automatic and a quartz. Treat him!
My missus recently took my 2000 off my hands 😄 It's a cracking watch. The seconds hand lands on the minute marker bang on and I haven't changed the battery in years.
As I work booth in the field and an office, I wear an SKX007 as my daily beater. I've got a Breitling Super Ocean II that is my top tier piece, and a Hamilton Khaki and A Seiko Turtle for semi-formal and outdoor sports. That being said, my TH Formula 1, quartz, it's an easy choice for all-day weekend wearing. All of the others are automatic, with the Khaki and the Turtle also having manual-wind capability, I wanted one quartz watch that would be synch'ed all the time, and the Formula 1 it IT. It's not COSC, like my Certina Podium, but it keeps time very well for hardly wearing it during the week. Forget being an auto purist, this watch looks great (mine is a chrono on rubber strap), runs consistent, and is very readable. Take it off Sunday night, and when I put it back on the next Friday afternoon, it's barely lost a fraction of a second. What more could I ask for?

Those Chronographs are beautiful, especially the Gulf and the Senna The F1 Wac111a alarm I got in 2008 was my first luxury timepiece. At the time I'd only heard of Tag Heuer and Rolex so was over the moon when i got it. Great video by the way.
I own the formula 1 quarts chronograph in blue and it's an absolute beautiful watch that blue dial just pops, the black one looks kind of tacky honestly. With that said I am looking to pick up the automatic calibre 5 with the anthracite dial and black ceramic middle inserts on the bracelet, the cool thing about that watch is it has a rotating bezel while the calibre 16 version does not.
Hi Kevin, both are great watches. The Cal.6 comes with a ceramic/steel bracelet and a chronograph, it's slightly bigger than the Cal.5 at 44mm compared to 43mm, though both have automatic movements and look stunning, it's all down to personal preference.
Sorry guys this brand is far from swiss made look close to this wstches please they are over price ! Seiko offers a lot better good quality good looking watches for less !
TAG Heuer is a Swiss Made brand. There are not many brands out there that are 100% Swiss Made anymore. Seiko is a great brand that makes some great watches, it's all down to personal preference.
It definitely is all about personal preference. I mean, the cases are good and so are the bracelets for Tag and their movements which many are generic ETA movements for me, do not warrant the price. For the price of the Tag F1 Chronograph Quartz (I think when I bought it the price was £1,150), you could get yourself some beautiful Automatic watches of far superior quality. Unfortunately at the time, I didn't think enough and was in a Beaverbrooks drunk and with heavy balls. But the prices are heavy and especially for a Quartz. I would much more settle for an Oris, Longines, Junghans (Max Bill) and definitely Seiko than over a Tag again. If I were to spend the money and get a Tag again, it would defiantly not be for an F1 or Quartz but the Monaco. Regardless, as I've said before - the case and bracelet was flawless - just shame about the internals.
I think you're right, nice cases and bracelets. I would add, nice dials also. Those I think put Tag over the other brands you mentioned. The internals aren't bad. ETA movements are solid swiss made movements. Correct me if I'm wrong, but not too long ago, everyone but rolex used ETA movements, right?
@@bri13wvu1 I've never heard this before that everyone used ETA but Rolex. I mean, straight off the bat Omega have their own Co-Axial movement which isn't ETA.
@@VerminWatch Brietling, Omega, Tudor, IWC, Panerai, all have used and use ETA movements, why is it only a problem when Tag does it? There's loads of brands who make in house movements and still use ETA in some of their watches as well, Omega is a perfect example, i mean Tag has in house movements as well, Considering a Tag will generally run cheaper retail than an Omega, what's wrong with them using ETA who make reliable and easily serviceable movements?
so much overpriced.. 1100€ for a 5€ Quarts movement and a shitty bracelet with cheap clasp. I would prefer Tissot or Certina over this, as they offer much more quality for a much better price!
My first luxury watch is a formula 1. Wanted one since I was a kid. Is it the best watch? No. Do I absolutely adore it? Yes.
So why do you say No...???

£1000+ for a basic quartz is not a great deal. But if you like the aesthetics that's a different matter.

The chrono looks great, the appearance of Tag Heuer is what initially attracted it to me.
Should the black tachymetre dial rotate on the first watch or not mate?
My mrs just bought me the calibre 16 with the black dial for my birthday, well chuffed

What?
I wear watches only on the weekends...will you recommend a Automatic or Quartz?
Unless you are willing to purchase a watch winder too, a quartz.
AMJ Watches why a watch winder? I like to manually reset my watch when they have not been used for a while. Why do you recommend watch winder?
Always automatic
How much did they sell for in the 1980s?
360-400 dollars

The Calibre 5 ain’t remotely close to a dress watch. You’d look ridiculous if you wore that to a black tie event.
