Nice old Ronson
I got a NOS one in the box with paperwork and still sealed in a plastic. Says it will tarnish after opened in paperwork, also says it's plated. Am not a collector but like vintage items. I saw it at a junk store for maybe $15 some time back. Thought it was too cool to pass on at that price.

No, I think it's original. The finish appears very similar to the multitude of silver plated Ronson table lighters I've come across. Definitely stands out, though. Thanks for stopping by!✌️
Is there a way to tell when a ronson was made? I have a standard, whirlwind, and Adonis I’d like to try to find out when it was made
There are some details you can look at, like the various patents included on the bottom, but no definitive dating guide for them.
