DIY Rear Bash Bar | E46 M3

- In this video I build my own rear bash bar so that way I can mount a rear diffuser to it in the future. Definitely not a pro at this fabrication stuff but I will say, I learned a lot while doing this. Once I get access to some tubing and a bender I'll remake the rear bash bar.

Turned out really good bro that's inspiring
You will need to weld in two support bars from the mounting plate up to the cross bar otherwise the extra weight hanging off it could cause it to sag over time and open up the gaps in the bumper.
The process you went through is great but the square tubing you used seems like it was left over from a folding table or a chair. It doesn't seem "stout" enough to serve as a bash bar. Maybe I'm wrong but it looks like if you ran into it with a bike it would just buckle.
I agree
Actually if you red the description he explained he's going to remake it
Yep, I agree. It’s not as strong as it could be. As soon as I can get access to some proper tubing and a way to bend it, I’ll remake the bar. This bash bar was purely to accomplish the goal of attaching the diffuser. Which will be the next video!
Came back to this to check the progress on the build since I was last here a few months ago and I still think the front needs something like a lip and maybe canards to finish the overly wide look you went for. It looks nice from the side and rear though!
Is the BMW you daily? If so I would do a second bar with a few dimple die gust-its to add strength for safety on the road. I know you are carefully where you go with the car but other people not so much....
That M3 is in big need of a massive rear wing... more than ever before :D
No, no and no. Wings on E46's is like pineapple on pizza. They're not meant to be put together.
@@madinho What about the Most Wanted M3 GTR
@@mynt253 the only expetion I can make
Always good videos
very nice bro keep it up you are doing great over there
What kind of wheels are thoese. Width and size.
I believe the car would look beautiful if it had smoked lights. Not too smoked. But a little darker. Just to flow with the amazing black color of the car
LegoGaming possibly. I’ve never been a fan of smoked lights. But I think that’s because everyone overdoes them. It’s a good suggestion. And would be fun to try and do it well.
@@KyleReese6511 truthfully man. Its your build. And i respect that. So you do what you feel is right for the car. Im excited to see how you build the diffuser. Ive been watching this build since you first put foam on as the flares. And i liked that you were doing your own style of flares with a little bit of LBW thrown in there.
Please don’t smoke the lights sheesh
I like your car :)
Love the content!
When u recording, try to record the finish product, if u can
C est quoi le model des jantes ??
Kyle Reese do you drift ? Or are you a drag racer ? Or do you really like cars ?
Jagdeep Singh I really love cars. But I really want to get into drifting too. I also do some autocross when my car is prepped well.
I really don't understand the point of all this...
Jentonio Ramberg I’m building a rear diffuser. To make the mounting points of the diffuser super solid, I built the bar so I can attach the diffuser to the bar. And in the process, not destroy the original crash bar on the M3.
You ruined the car
it’s his canvas for creativity and learning. Gotta use something, might as well be a 20 year old E46 M3..
