Amtrak 59 at 78mph with new Siemens Charger 314 - Jackson, MS

On the trip to Jackson, this was the first Amtrak ALC-42 unit I had ever seen, and also my first Amtrak train with Superliners aside from the Auto Train. Amtrak 59 is the "City of New Orleans" and runs from Chicago, IL to New Orleans, LA. The Siemens ALC-42 locomotives will eventually phase out the GE P42DC fleet.
