- This choir is from Moscow.
They were recorded while they were touring through the Europe.
They defiantly are the great bunch with beautiful voices but it looks like this group gathered just for the tour. Nobody saw or heard of them after.
I tried to find them and invite for the tour to US but unsuccessfully.
RCF - Reunite Cultures Fund organize and manage such groups for the tours to USA since 2003.

I have been playing that piece for years again and again... it is overwhelming... what a voice.
I think this is the Doros chamber group. The soloist and a few of the members seen in this video sing in Doros.

@@bradleyakulov3618 I looked again and neither the name of the group nor that of the CD are provided, at least not in English, and I unfortunately do not speak Russian. I would genuinely love to know the name of the CD and would spend significant money to acquire it. This recording is one of the most beautiful songs that I have ever heard.

Его преподаватели и друзья в Консерватории тоже хотели бы знать, где он. Есть предположение, что он ушёл в закрытый монастырь. "Пою Господу Богу моему, дондеже есмь!"
Восторг! Божественно! Я кричу от несправедливости. Не может этот человек не петь, это преступление, найдите кто-нибудь возможность вернуть его в храм, ведь он и учился столько лет, и пел. Почему замолчал???? Катастрофа для тех, кто его услышал и больше не имеет такой возможности!!!! Мне очень горько и обидно!!!

Undoubtedly one of the most gifted vocalists in the world. After listening to this several times, I purchased the excellent 3-cd Doros collection. Regrettably, from reading the translated Russian comments, it appears that the soloist here, Egor Chernegov-Nomerov, has not performed for very many years, his whereabouts unknown.

У него было свое дело, да, по дезинсекции и дератизации, и это не значит, что он сам выполнял эту работу, но главное - это было много лет назад и дела больше не существует. А сам он пропал с поля зрения всех, никто не знает, где он, уже много лет. Есть предположения, что он ушел в закрытый монастырь,но это только предположения. Если не верите, можете позвонить в Консерваторию, его преподаватели и друзья тоже хотели бы знать, где он и что с ним.

Это, ребята, наша реальность. Нас нагнули и держат в положении табуретки, мы и пикнуть боимся . Все ТВ заняли киркоровы, лепсы, лазаревы, басковы и проч. бездарная шушера. А бриллианты вынуждены уходить в небытие. Если бы хоть раз показали людям истинную красоту голоса, музыки, души, общество было бы другим.
Русские таланты уничтожаются.Бездарности еврейской национальности заполонили все экраны и сцены.
Никто никому не мешает смотреть то что нравится. Любая музыка хороша если ведет к Богу. А пути Господни неисповедимы. И хэви мэтл божья музыка если правильно слушать.

I first came across this video in 2008 at the age of 16 and it really impacted me. I've come for years back to this video, it has such power.... It's like therapy. It's incredible. I have nothing but respect for Russian music, and culture.....to me at least, it is so much richer and more sincere, than anything that America has produced......Yet, we NEVER get to see this great culture in Western Europe, unless we actually SEARCH for it.....

To me, and I hope not to offend or start some discussion about the topic, to me religion is some personal hobby, it is equivalent to a favorite sports club. Meaning it is very real for those who encourage the club each saturday on a rainy football field. It gives real emotions but does not contain any truth other than shared by those believing that this year, this year we will become european champion or something similar. But it helps if you have great club music. And this chap can belt out a tune like few others.

Simply amazing - I cannot reconcile the beauty of what our Russian brethern sing and promote with the antagonism of the West towards Russia. There is something trully divine in the practice and promotion of the Christian faith.

Said her late dad, Wim, was a believer. And that she was named after him. Together we lit a candle for the repose of his soul and asked the Holy father to mention him in prayer. I am an atheist and I don't understand what he says ,but man I enjoyed it and it gives me the same chills I got when I watched it 6 years ago ,pure beauty .art and talent unite everybody.
I'm an atheist as well, and the Russian Orthodox Church is probably my favorite church due to the culture, art, and expecially the music. When I have trouble sleeping, I always listen to this, or if I'm worried. It calms your emotions and it works very well. I applaud the mucisians of this art

How can one not understand that we as man and woman have been created by a hand that is beyond our understanding. This music as it was composed and here performed is meant to convey a part of our existence that is beyond our understanding, but shows that they still exist...that is the essence of faith.
