Great video guys, I’m a member of the 360p gang now lol. It really is such a great car, I love they have stuck with volvos current design language. I love Thor’s hammer too. How many weeks did you have it. The tow bar made me laugh haha. Much quicker than the cayenne one we had. I bet you didn’t want to hand it back lol. Which trim level would you both go for? :) how old is Micheal? How long before he is aloud to drive all the cars? :)
Thank you, Michael is 23, and yes another car we wanted to keep, it’s a beautiful car as like you mentioned is the range. The tow bar is quicker than most of vehicles we’ve used, mind you others are powered for the full swing. I think the Momentum Pro as it’s the perfect combo.
@@PlanetautoUK oh cool, so only 2 more years till hes driving the Ferrari's :P If i was buying the estate version id love a inscription pro, finished in black onyx with amber leather :)
Great review guys. I've driven the manual and the auto and I must point out the auto is great when up and running but it's very slow witted off the mark. Takes a while to decide what it's going to do at junctions and roundabouts. The manual was much better in my opinion. Agree with everything you've said though, absolutely fantastic car and a great alternative to the Germanic brands.
Thank you, it’s amazing how many of the Autos we’ve driven that suffer from hesitance straight off the mark, I don’t remember it being especially noticeable, some of the premium brands suffer very prominently, thank you for the feedback. *ben
Interesting review but there seem to be no negative points whatsoever. I think you should mention that, at this price, the model tested carries a thumping £450 road tax for 5 years after purchase. Punitive and totally unfair!
We didn’t really pick up on any negative points, not quite as lavish as the V90, not a negative thing though. yes the road licence fund can be especially challenging, thank you
@notformebeaky Good move on your part! It's irritating that so many manufacturers 'lump' extras into 'packages' and destroy flexibility for the buyer. They'll have to adapt to a changed marketplace in a world of economic uncertainty.
@notformebeaky I agree with you in that we may see the motoring equivalent of 'shrinkflation' as with choc bars etc. More basic cars lacking desirable though not extravagant features. As for the the tax revenue on top of all the other motoring taxes one feels that the car industry, vital to the UK economy, really needs a boost to get things moving. Best regards!

@notformebeaky Yes it's certainly not ideal, and it doesn't play into our ball park.
Clever thinking, amazing cars, we’d like to try the new Polestar, we are also doing a classic review on a Volvo 240 GL can’t wait, enjoy your new car.
