So according to his website, he is still the Medical Director of the LA DCFS. which would be terrifying for the children and families there. My daughter is in jail right now for 2nd degree attempted murder of a police officer because her Dr told her she was over medicated,an she was not. They thought she was just on drugs an when I couldn't get her schizophrenic medicine she come at me with a knife so I couldn't be around her because I was scared of her. My daughter Nicole would never hurt a fly but it wasn't Nicole it was Nikki. I begged in the streets for help the judge would not do nothing not even put her in jail for the knife incident the DA lowered it to domestic violence. She come at me with a knife an thank God I was strong enough to take it away from her or I could have been killed.

She looked at the intake form where I checked almost every symptom box, laughed at me and paraphrasing said you can’t have all of these. You can pick one.” So I told her I was having fluctuating moods from sad to overly excitable regularly, and she told me that’s impossible, rapid cycling bipolar disorder doesn’t exist. I went without care for years because of that bitch humiliating me, and I really needed help during those years. Finally did get diagnosed because it does exist!🙄 Later on in life I was in grad school to become a therapist myself, but stopped because it was all too hypocritical for me. I have worked around psychiatrists and therapists in my work and there are definitely some doozies out there lol.

I was sent to a rehab in NC and it was ALOT like these children camps. If you wanted to go home, they put u in ur room and locked u there until u “didn’t want to leave anymore”. So much crazy bs. I’ve since been to a handful of rehabs and none have been like that!😢 ppl take advantage of the most vulnerable

If this disaster of a person actually has a medical license thank you for reporting him (and anyone else in the US who is able too also) where I'm from it's a bit of a disaster due to our medical system, but once you get a shrink you're stuck with them unless you move out of the area they cover All I can really say about mine is they were a sadist, they had me on various anti psychotics + anti depressants, that I had no business being on and still years later I'm still not mentally ok because of them and it made the original issue I was seeing for alot worse sorry for the essay, I just have a special kind of hate for these types of "medical professionals" no offence to the many decent Dr's and Nurses out there :)
I was in a similar situation. I suffer from both anxiety and depression so my anxiety gave me insomnia but when my depression got too bad I spent all my time sleeping. He heard periods of insomnia followed by periods of time when I couldn't do anything but sleep and bam he decided I was bipolar and put me under medicine against mania. It didn't matter that I had no other symptoms of bipolar disorder. Those meds did nothing for me except exacerbate my dark thoughts and take away my ability to feel any positive feeling whatsoever. (And they also impaired my ability to think clearly and process information. I went from a fairly intelligent person to someone so slow I would take a minute to process a simple question like "how are you today?")
It's because they take the information you give them and add their own reasons for what you are telling them instead of asking the questions to find out why... my friend in the uk just got diagnosed autistic... but the reasons they did given the diagnosis (which she does agree with and actually wanted) were based off of false assumptions of the motives of her behavior... a good example is her asking to move seats was seen as her being combative or challenging instead of being in pain because she's uncomfortable 😅 I was a very frustrating experience for her.. especially because in the paper work the treatment they talked about with her was only medication and not any of the therapies that would actually help and support her such as an occupational therapist or what not...

I've experienced that, too even here I the United States. I've truly suffered with disabling anxiety and panic disorder and bouts of depression. It seems one feeds into the other. But since the time I was a young teen they've played guinea pig with me withsom truly dangerous meds, and refused to continue the ONE medicine I was on that actually HELPED, because it was "dangerous and could be addictive" No! "Instead, here take this antipsychotic. Oh, the problems are even worse, with a side of dissociation now? Well here, try this one instead.." @@lonelyjesse85 Your situation mirrors mine very closely, I've had acute anxiety for most of my life, tried to go get help for it eventually (I was very resistant to having to go on medication so put it off far too long) I was then right away given a variety of anti psych meds + ssri's and other antidepressant variants, which actually caused me to have one of several psychotic episode's as they made my insomnia worse so I was literally awake for 5 days at a time which partly triggered at least 1 of them (I can't even begin to explain to someone what it's like, but they were some of the most terrifying exp's I've ever had to go through, when you don't know what's real or not) and yeah like you said they just turn you into a zombie, also caused me to eat constantly though I felt no hunger, I wasn't feeling anything really apart from drugged and my mood had gotten even lower. When I requested to come off them or to please try anything else as I wasn't going to last much longer in that state, as like you any thoughts I did have at that time weren't good lets just say. I was then accused of being a drug seeker when I had never once asked for any medications, they were the one's handing them out like candy. So I was then threatened with being held against my will in a psych ward for several months which I somehow managed to get out of (I really have the nurses to thank for that I think) Sorry for the essay/ramble again, this isn't meant to be an oh poor me story lol, this kind of medical incompetence just infuriates me, and I have no one else to talk about it too, so I ramble in the comments section lol, and you get asshats like this doctor (who I'm sure is in some big pharma lobby group or board, or at least being compensated nicely by one) What's also infuriating is that all the players in keeping the conservership going for so long and making huge amounts of money in the process all now seemingly get to walk off scot free. I don't know if its even possible or how it would work with how long it went on etc, but it really seems like there needs to be an investigation into every single lawyer, judge or doctor who ever signed off on any of this, but that's wishful thinking.

Huh. Dr Phil used to be a main investor on La Hacienda, a "rehab" center for 30k a month for the elites, in Hunt Texas. Lindsay Lohan was set to go there but she was shuffled somewhere else. You could be sent this place against your will with ZERO problems with addiction or anything in your system, but you'd never leave. Then theyd start to put you on all sorts of meds and it was just sick. There were SEVERAL mothers sent there by their ex's lawyers and ALL lost full custody of their children. On his website, under his professional appointments, it says "November 2003 - Present Medical Director, County of Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services, Interim Chief Deputy."
So according to his website, he is still the Medical Director of the LA DCFS. which would be terrifying for the children and families there. Luckily, his website seems to be outdated because I couldn't find his name anywhere on the Los Angeles DCFS current Director page.

My daughter is in jail right now for 2nd degree attempted murder of a police officer because her Dr told her she was over medicated,an she was not. They thought she was just on drugs an when I couldn't get her schizophrenic medicine she come at me with a knife so I couldn't be around her because I was scared of her. My daughter Nicole would never hurt a fly but it wasn't Nicole it was Nikki. I begged in the streets for help the judge would not do nothing not even put her in jail for the knife incident the DA lowered it to domestic violence. She come at me with a knife an thank God I was strong enough to take it away from her or I could have been killed.

But as a therapist for over 15 years, psychiatrist are some of the most detached selfish Narcissist I’ve ever met. I commend you for reporting that to his license. That would’ve made a huge difference in the Jody Hildebrand case, but I digress. this guy is so unprofessional. She never had stupid dementia which is like one of the only reasons to have a conservatorship so when he starts off saying she should’ve been in one, he’s a goddamn idiot sorry.

She looked at the intake form where I checked almost every symptom box, laughed at me and paraphrasing said you can’t have all of these. You can pick one.” So I told her I was having fluctuating moods from sad to overly excitable regularly, and she told me that’s impossible, rapid cycling bipolar disorder doesn’t exist. I went without care for years because of that bitch humiliating me, and I really needed help during those years. Finally did get diagnosed because it does exist!🙄 Later on in life I was in grad school to become a therapist myself, but stopped because it was all too hypocritical for me. I have worked around psychiatrists and therapists in my work and there are definitely some doozies out there lol.

She still hasn't taken any accountability for her own actions and behaviors that led to this endless mess she's been living through. She has never seemed to understand that in spite of wealth and fame, you can lose custody of your kids if you are not safe and stable for them or around them. This was not a threat or a manipulation tactic to manipulate Britney into being a dancing chimpanzee for her "handlers" -- it is the law. But no, it's everyone else's fault, always. I was sent to a rehab in NC and it was ALOT like these children camps. If you wanted to go home, they put u in ur room and locked u there until u “didn’t want to leave anymore”. So much crazy bs. Groups where everyone screams yells swears insults u. U can’t say anything back or ur in more trouble. So much bad things. I’ve since been to a handful of rehabs and none have been like that!😢 ppl take advantage of the most vulnerable

where I'm from it's a bit of a disaster due to our medical system, but once you get a shrink you're stuck with them unless you move out of the area they cover
All I can really say about mine is they were a sadist, they had me on various anti psychotics + anti depressants, that I had no business being on and still years later I'm still not mentally ok because of them

I was in a similar situation. I suffer from both anxiety and depression so my anxiety gave me insomnia but when my depression got too bad I spent all my time sleeping. He heard periods of insomnia followed by periods of time when I couldn't do anything but sleep and bam he decided I was bipolar and put me under medicine against mania. It didn't matter that I had no other symptoms of bipolar disorder. Those meds did nothing for me except exacerbate my dark thoughts and take away my ability to feel any positive feeling whatsoever. (And they also impaired my ability to think clearly and process information. I went from a fairly intelligent person to someone so slow I would take a minute to process a simple question like "how are you today?")
It's because they take the information you give them and add their own reasons for what you are telling them instead of asking the questions to find out why... my friend in the uk just got diagnosed autistic... but the reasons they did given the diagnosis (which she does agree with and actually wanted) were based off of false assumptions of the motives of her behavior... a good example is her asking to move seats was seen as her being combative or challenging instead of being in pain because she's uncomfortable 😅 I was a very frustrating experience for her.. especially because in the paper work the treatment they talked about with her was only medication and not any of the therapies that would actually help and support her such as an occupational therapist or what not...

I've experienced that, too even here I the United States. I've truly suffered with disabling anxiety and panic disorder and bouts of depression. It seems one feeds into the other. But since the time I was a young teen they've played guinea pig with me withsom truly dangerous meds, and refused to continue the ONE medicine I was on that actually HELPED, because it was "dangerous and could be addictive" No! "Instead, here take this antipsychotic. Oh, the problems are even worse, with a side of dissociation now? Well here, try this one instead.." This whole system is SICK and at imes I think downright evil. I am so sorry you went through that, too. I hope andpray you're in a good place now and can have some peace and enjoy life. ❤
@@lonelyjesse85 Your situation mirrors mine very closely, I've had acute anxiety for most of my life, tried to go get help for it eventually (I was very resistant to having to go on medication so put it off far too long)
I was then right away given a variety of anti psych meds + ssri's and other antidepressant variants, which actually caused me to have one of several psychotic episode's as they made my insomnia worse so I was literally awake for 5 days at a time which partly triggered at least 1 of them (I can't even begin to explain to someone what it's like, but they were some of the most terrifying exp's I've ever had to go through, when you don't know what's real or not)
and yeah like you said they just turn you into a zombie, also caused me to eat constantly though I felt no hunger, I wasn't feeling anything really apart from drugged and my mood had gotten even lower.
When I requested to come off them or to please try anything else as I wasn't going to last much longer in that state, as like you any thoughts I did have at that time weren't good lets just say.
I was then accused of being a drug seeker when I had never once asked for any medications, they were the one's handing them out like candy.
So I was then threatened with being held against my will in a psych ward for several months which I somehow managed to get out of (I really have the nurses to thank for that I think)
Sorry for the essay/ramble again, this isn't meant to be an oh poor me story lol, this kind of medical incompetence just infuriates me, and I have no one else to talk about it too, so I ramble in the comments section lol, and you get asshats like this doctor (who I'm sure is in some big pharma lobby group or board, or at least being compensated nicely by one)
What's also infuriating is that all the players in keeping the conservership going for so long and making huge amounts of money in the process all now seemingly get to walk off scot free. I don't know if its even possible or how it would work with how long it went on etc, but it really seems like there needs to be an investigation into every single lawyer, judge or doctor who ever signed off on any of this, but that's wishful thinking.

I first learned about this man back when he was associated with Dr Phil and was the medical director for DCF/CPS. I've advocated in regards to changes with CPS for years. Excellent show! It has to be about the money. There are so many homeless people with serious mental health issues and questionable behaviors that arguably would be better "candidates" for a conservatorship than Brittany Spears. None of us have the right to force or control the actions of others who are non-violent. I cannot believe this is the state of the USA.
A great example is my own ex best friend who was diagnosed bipolar skitzophrenic at age 17. Now has 2 kids. Doesn't have to medicate and refuses too. You know how the condition goes. She is off her rockers, always thinks people are "plotting her demise". She has ruined so many lives, even her own children and she is considered a "normal functioning member of society" my butt.😕

Huh. Dr Phil used to be a main investor on La Hacienda, a "rehab" center for 30k a month for the elites, in Hunt Texas. Lindsay Lohan was set to go there but she was shuffled somewhere else.
You could be sent this place against your will with ZERO problems with addiction or anything in your system, but you'd never leave. Then theyd start to put you on all sorts of meds and it was just sick.
There were SEVERAL mothers sent there by their ex's lawyers and ALL lost full custody of their children. See, abusers with money are allowed to violate all your rights and put you through hell.
