You could just buy two cheap saws and run them together to save a hundred dollars and double your efficiency. One luxury saw is $750 while two cheap saws would only cost you $597.
Thanks for the video, I, like you, couldn't find any info... you just saved me a lot of money :)if it gave double the planks then it would be a better option, three times the cost for a speedier saw really isn't worth it for me
It would be so much better to get more planks, since I’ve already spent the money, I like the speed but if I made another save I probably wouldn’t. Thank you for your input!

@@halfsize The speed can be more valuable than you think when it comes to high efficiency high output setups. What you do is set up log racks behind you which you then fill via trailers/trucks/whatever. Then the extra speed means that if you're quick on your feet you can barely keep 3 fast saws rolling. However in the same setup you'd need a lot more of the cheap ones. so you'd spend too much time shuffling around. Which compounds the bonus of higher speed. This can lead to a VERY efficient way to mass produce the many many planks that you will need to build your ranch. Even a couple of high efficiency saws will really be all anyone ever needs. I do agree though that at the start where you're not really set up yet. Buying two or even three cheap saws is the far superior option. It's 100% not something you should rush but rather something to consider when you finalize your wood setup.
@@ramezhachicho1777 That makes sense. I never really saw the game as a speed run or maximum profit per time type of play but it could definitely be useful in that sense. I never really thought of needing or wanting more than one saw. I had to get the cheap saw out of “storage” to make the video lol

I think the luxury one would be a lot better if it was more 'precise' in it's cutting as to give 3 or 4 planks because we need a looooot of them in this game.

Do they both consume gas if they are running without sawing logs?
I haven’t noticed either of them using gas unless a log is sawn. I typically keep mine off just so the noise isn’t bad.
