As a drummer who has always learned by ear or video, you do a great job! I would like to have the music at a higher lever than your drums so when we play it we don’t have to crank the music up so loud. We can still learn from watching as we play. Hope that makes sense to you. Thank you.
I tune the bottom head to 400hz (each lug) and the top around 195-200hz (each lug). That gives you a great start and then the rest is the post production (eqs, compression, reverb, etc). Thanks for the kind words, I appreciate it!
