- The FBI Special Agent hiring process differs somewhat from other federal agencies. The FBI seeks applicants in specific applicant categories based on the needs of the agency. This video discusses general qualifications and the specific applicant skill areas being sought.
I will make it a personal mission to join the FBI. Such a tragedy to lose these brave agents. Despite the politics and controversies... I do believe in the need for law enforcement.
Announcing that out in the open isn’t the smartest move to begin with.

@@robbiesworld9156because now an adversary has an idea of how to find you. By making that announcement you just gave them your UA-cam account, and a way to start learning more about you. Everything you post on social media is out in the open. A career criminal can read this very conversation.

Do you know what specific IT skills they are looking for? I am at a point in my career where I can start specializing. My end goal is to endup in the fbi, currently just do IT customer support. College degree is in Electrical and Computer engineering Technology with good marks. Thanks!
I think any computer forensics type experience. Unfortunately besides operating a computer, I dont have much knowledge myself, but the FBI recruiter would probably be able to provide specific majors.

I have a bachelors degree but in communications. Can I still apply even tho I have no real specialized degree?

Is there any chance that an exception can be made and recruite a person who's just a permanent resident and don't have a US citizenship ?
It is possible to be fired by certain state and local agencies, but not by any federal agencies.

Lots of great info! My goal is to eventually be an HRT operator. Since I’m 21 & the FBI only hires at 23 could I go Marshal service then transfer? Or would it be better to get local experience then apply when it’s time? Thanks!
If you can enter the USMS now, I would do it. They also have a tactical team.
Where and what tattoos are prohibited in the FBI?
Do not get anything that is hard to conceal. No face, neck, or hand tattoos for sure. The easier to conceal the better. Upper arm torso and legs should be fine
