I usually see homes with lots of glass walls and panels like this house has are located near the ocean, or lake, or some beautiful city views and still have privacy because the neighbors are not too close.
But, this house has no view except of the neighbors’ houses. Why expose the interior of the house to the neighbors? I don’t get it. You wanna show off the interior of the house to people you don’t know and are walking by? Or driving by? In Japan it’s totally the opposite. They love their privacy. You won’t see a house like this in a Japanese neighborhood.
And if the glass is not double-paned, the heat from the sunlight will penetrate easily, making this home dependent on air conditioners. I don’t think the house has solar panels, so the energy usage will be crazy. 100M, not worth it.
