Hey, I'm from Poland. I can tell you one thing that we know from leaks: - CD Projekt has access to the latest versions of Unreal Engine, pre-release and its games will be released on the latest available version, it doesn't necessarily have to be UE5, - CD Projekt is working very hard with programmers from Epic, they are introducing a lot of changes to the engine. That's why the CD Projekt engine version will be very heavily customized. It will be significantly different from other games on Unreal Engine.
My number 1 wish is that CDPR can somehow fix the inherent problem with the UE engine and it's CPU demand and the "traversal fps dips/hitches/stuttering" that almost all UE games have. UE5 looks amazing and we know CDPR will fully make use of that. But if the game runs like a dog like Hogwarts and Jedi Survivor with the constant stutter and dips. That will be awful. One thing with RED Engine. It's super stable in FPS. I mean at most going through the whole city no matter how fast you're driving etc. Only differ 3-5fps barely.
@@Jv19979 that's an assumption, I bet the unreal developers want CDPR developers to improve unreal engine and they cut a deal. Someone from CDPR has said that especially their open-world technology is sought after by the UE developers. So we'll see. I too fear that UE will be some sort of monopoly, but for orion they will make great use of it and improve it where needed.
Cyberpunk has become a beast of its own. Only in Night City can you feel small and become lost. Los Santos is shallow and not interesting to explore at all. I only hope they will go uphill from here.
I like how youre comparing it to a 12 year old game, says a lot about how ahead rockstar is. If Rockstar released GTA 5 the same year as cyberpunk, you know damn well los santos would be light-years ahead of night city.. With that said, watch how vice city dunks on night city.
It is unfair to compare the two considering how spaced out they are in terms of release dates. It is like comparing Los Santos to Novigrad or Toussaint. GTA5 was a marvel to behold when it released. I think GTA6 will be the real contender to Night City's crown, and will certainly steal it because Rockstar will have medium-defining simulation of city life, whereas CDPR is not really there yet. But Orion will likely go all in on these aspects as well, so we'll see if it surpasses GTA6 in such regards.
Assuming gta 6 is below people’s expectations then yes next cyberpunk stands a chance at being a real competitor. But they need to heavily upgrade there NPC systems, police systems, sandbox elements across the board.
It's hard, much harder for CDPR to compete with Rockstar Games on sandbox and open world elements - 'cause CP is an Action RPG , GTA has an Advantage over that because of simplicity of being action adventure with mostly basic gameplay elements, and basic - liner missions design. Their only hope is to close the gap
@ kingdom come deliverance 1 was an indie crowd funded game that has better npcs and crime system than cyberpunk. They’ll obviously never reach gta 6 level when it comes to tech but assuming the next game is an rpg game like KCD they’ll have thst advantage. Hopefully at least rdr2 NPC and crime system level. No more spawning in cops, no more people running away from gunfire in a dystopian cyberpunk city lol, let them react to you stalking them, starring, have day/night cycles with jobs etc…
@@Entertainment-ev6ob They're using UE5 which has horrible baseline NPC pathfinding and AI, as evident in the new Stalker 2 game. There hasn't been a UE5 game with good AI, so CDPR would have to completely rewrite the AI libraries, and the question is, will they actually do that? Plus, UE5 handles open-world parallel systems horribly. So CDPR will have to overhaul all of that if they even want to stand a hair's chance of competing with GTA 6, which I don't think they will be able to do. Their best bet is to just focus on the graphics and story, because gameplay wise, based on the leaks from GTA 6, it takes all of the best parts of RDR2 and GTA 5 and have upgraded them, so I don't see Cyberpunk competing with it in that regard.
@@Entertainment-ev6ob Almost all of the senior level engine support designers left CDPR, so unless they hired top-level engineers to replace them, it's not going to be an easy task.
My wish list for the cyberpunk sequel is honestly endless but the key things I just need it to have are: -A better, more meaningful crafting and loot economy -3rd person cutscenes (not fussed about 3rd person gameplay but the cutscenes from the 2018 demo were a big miss) -Meaningful stealth that maybe alters a quests outcome -Speech checks based on skills possessed, cyberware installed that again, could alter how a quest or mission progresses or concludes -Faction reputation system between the gangs, corporations, police etc. maybe building a reputation by eliminating rival gang members, harming or helping a corporation or resolving police issues could unlock a faction quest line, new cyberware, vehicles etc similar to Skyrim with the stormcloaks and imperials.
The fact that cutscenes in this game are us still playing the game is what makes Cyberpunk great. Turning cutscenes into hands off movies is not the move. CDPR's 2077 World, may look really slick but its implementation of NPC's is in the Stone Ages. I don't know why they didn't spend the same time and effort on their NPCs as they did on the cars or the Architecture. GTA5 set the standard for NPCs so that anything less looks comical. I hope they improve the inhabitants.
The amount of content needs to 100 fold to compete. Multiplayer is a must. Body mods need to increase. Real world destruction. Animation overhaul. Socializing with npcs overhaul, owning business
Nah. Maybe not the business part. This isnt GTA. They have to follow the source material. Cyberpunk is actually based on a 80's board game called Cyberpunk. They are trying to follow the original story as much as possible. A multiplayer mode would be sick but I dont think it should start copying GTA Online that would just ruin the experience.
What is want for the next cyberpunk is this(even tho I know it probably won't happen) 1st off I don't want my character to basically become a god. Like v was able to be strong yeah but he also didn't have much time to live so he didn't really have a chance to turn into a cyberpsycho. I want the characters to be aware of it and actively not beable to use too much cyberware. I for one want the life paths to matter. (This is just off the top so it's probably not the best way to do them just a idea tho) I also think each life path should have the ability to leave the group and maybe become a merc aswell. For the corpo I want the ability to pick from different corporations. Then after picking it want my character to start from the bottom doing jobs to get to the top. These jobs being your decision. Maybe it's dealing and back stabing other corps or even nomads in trading/getting back stuff stolen by nomads corps or street people. Then depending on your decisions causes conflicts or good relations with those groups. So if you have conflict they could randomly attack you or if you go in their area they attack you. But the goal for a corpo is to make your character raise on the company ladder doing corpo jobs. For the street lifepath I want to pick a gang and like b4 work my way up in the gang. The higher in the gang the more choices I get. Like maybe when you get higher up in the gang you can choose to start a war with another gang. Maybe even get random gang npc to follow you(2 or 3) to do hits on buildings(older gta games had this) but the whole goal for the street lifepath is to get the gang you picked bigger. That or maybe become the leader. For the nomads similar to the others you try and make your group bigger and more well known. Taking jobs from corpos. Going to war against corpos. Stealing gear from corpos and gangs. Doing deals and even attacking other nomads. Just trying to get your Nomad family strong and well known. Could start off small and you go find other nomad groups. Depending on how you want to play could add good nomad groups and be more of a family. Or you could add bad nomad groups and attack nomad groups just cuz. I just want the life paths to mean something and I want it revolving around the life paths you decided to choose. You could have basically the same main side characters for each life path story. just change their looks and how they act Depending on the lifestyle and groups you join. Like for example for a female companion if you pick corpo she's is more stuck up and will only acknowledge you the more you climb the corpo ladder. Where it's the same character model just a different look for the nomad path. (Different look for the different nomad group options) maybe she's not as stuck up as corpo and is a more care free character for the nomads. Then they wouldn't need to make different side characters for all the different groups and life paths. Just same voice actors with more lines and different character model looks. I just think they should build completely for the life paths.
This has me concerned from a few reasons: 1. Over 5% profits loss for using Unreal Engine instead of REDengine! This only get worse because steam charges 30% per sale which is crazy compared to Epic's 12%. 2. New engine requires you to learn everything from scratch, effectively they lost everything they learned when they made Cyberpunk 2077. 3. It will be made in America by Americans, instead of the Polish people, so you can expect your pronouns and political agenda to completely ruin your new Cyberpunk game! 4. GREED/INCOMPETENCE/RUSHED RELEASE, because America! All the above reasons will absolutely compromise the new cyberpunk game, its not a matter of if but how much! The only reason Cyberpunk 2077 flopped on release is because America got involved in the games production near the end, they also tried to add Keanu Reeves to the game when it was 90% complete which created lots of problems at the end of the games development, and contributed to its rushed release and unfinished state! Also Americans encourage unfinished game releases just look at any AAA title made in the last 15 years. According to my estimations Cyberpunk Orion will fail even more spectacularly then Cyberpunk 2077 did on release, only this time it will not be patched and be left abandoned just like 100 other AAA titles released in the last decade! What is worse us gamers will be blamed for its lack of sales! I hope somebody reads this years in the future when its inevitably released!
Cyberpunk can do a first person gta. Third person is okay, but its a little redundant. I dont want it to be another stealth game. First person gives u better story

The next game will be up there with one of the best games ever made I have full faith in the team after phantom liberty and the fixes they made along the way
I want to say this to people comparing CDPR to Rockstar: I dont think Project Orion will be a direct competitor to GTA 6, but I do think it will be a competitor to Fallout 5 (when it EVENTUALLY releases 🙄) and Elder Scrolls 6 since its essentially the same genre, an open world "fanatasy/scifi" RPG. CDPR is most likely targeting Bethesda fans directly, not GTA fans as Cyberpunk is not really comparable to GTA 5 and the GTA formula other than it involves crime and an open world setting. Its essentially somewhere between GTA 5 and Fallout 4 but leaning more towards Fallout, with those dialogue choices and how the player can influence the story.

The main reason I believe the next version of cyberpunk will probably fail is because their going to see the massive success and innovation done by rockstar with gta 6 and try to reach or succeed at beating rockstar at their own game just like how they tried to make a game as big as gta5 when their studio just doesn’t have the same experience and workflow as rockstar and for those of you who think they can make a better game than rockstar must have forgotten gta 5 came out for the ps3 and xbox 360 and games are still trying to meet up to their standards also gta is their main series so thats where all the real innovation will go into the only real thing they have over gta is a better setting since you can do more with a cyberpunk world and first person since it does help with immersion but it seem alot of you have truly forgotten rockstar runs the gaming industry so stop comparing them to a studio who’ve only made one great game wither 3 and one good game cyberpunk 2077 post updates

Lmfao “gta killer”? 2077 was supposed to be a “gta killer” too, but everyone who played in the beginning knows how that one panned out. Spoiler alert: it wasn’t even close.

5:42 the Witcher came out 3-4 years after Skyrim lol
we gonna need a 7090 ti super to run that shi
I want a space mission. They kind of teased it really hard the whole game.
Love the diverse content! Keep it going brah 🔥🤴🏾🦁
the current state of cyberpunk 2077 is already a gta killer
There are so many changes i would want. So far its been awesome, but you can add so much more.
What is want for the next cyberpunk is this(even tho I know it probably won't happen)
1st off I don't want my character to basically become a god.
For me vr is the future ❤ but new cyberpunk going be insane on our gpus.
Maybe cyberpunk vr?
This has me concerned from a few reasons:
Great video mate and I agree with everything you said
Probably going to release in 2031, u should make a wishlist video for Project Orion.
later than that.....
@@X-101 nope
2028 is my call
It’s ridiculous how hard I had to try to make a believable blk character. No blk guy presets, just dark white guys. It’s ALMOST AS IF they didn’t want us to play the game.
I just stopped playin it
Silly reason not to play. You probably voted for Kamala too. You know them YT folks over in Europe wasn’t into that but I bet they fix that.
Do you have a video where you show the list of ur mods for cyberpunk
isn't The Witcher 4 the next cd project red game tho? We will have to wait a few years after to see Orion
the Witcher 4 is more of a GTA 6 rival then Orion
@@Ivan-Gomez witcher 4 is nowhere close to being a rival to gta 6, gta 6 focuses on the satirety tone while games like witcher are more serious with in depth lore
Cdpr is working on both
I believe it should be first person again, but have the option for third person switching if you want…
Personally CP2077 is my favourite game and I think CDPR have learnt the ways of the force now ….
I always say whats the point of getting these comsetics if your never gonna see em i know they say what about camera mode aint no one use that the only way to see it now is by bieng on a bike
They need to make a third person option, some ppl like first some third so why not make both an option
I've played GTA 5 and later Cyberpunk, honestly I don't undestand the hype with GTA 5, but Cyberpunk just made me say it is the best game I ever played
I'm ready for beyond Good and evil
tbh, lets focus on WITCHER 4 before talking bout CP2
fuck witcher
Nah
Best game I’ve played in years! 10/10 for Phantom Liberty alone
This game needs 3rd person view and online world done right and let it build over time
It needs neither
@ needs both
I really hope v’s story isn’t done was really invested into my v’s character
Yeah they can transfer assets to unreal
whats your pc
i guess the next Cyberpunk comes out 2028-29 instead 2030
im watching this for the 3rd time because i fell asleep the first and second time, not because the video is boring but i got 2h of sleep and just dozed off when laying down and watching, waking up an hour later i realized i slept the entire time so i restarted the vid only to fall asleep again. just thought it was funny idk
What's your pc specs?
4090 r9 7950x3d 64gb ddr5 ram
No matter how this game is I can't play because I used to be a 3rd person gamer. I bought this and just waiting to play in ps5 lol. I don't compare this game in GTA but I rather compare it on Watch Dogs.
5 to 6 years? Good lord. Seems like Cyberpunk 2077 didn't last that long.
give me your modlist
it's really just pathtracing with nova lut switcher (preem lut pure) with the reshade in the requirements. Also using environmental texture overhaul, and blur begone!
WEF, the game.
Y’all keep trying to compare these other sandbox adventure games to GTA, and every time GTA comes out on top, for one you can’t compare cyberpunk to GTA, they may be in the same genre, but you play them for different reasons.
Stop calling it a gta killer? Can the game just be that famous by itself? Cyberpunk 2077 got its justice at its finest, gta or cyberpunk are in their best.
Like XDefiant won't kill Call of Duty, Cyberpunk while an awesome franchise will not kill GTA. Only Grand Theft Auto will kill Grand Theft Auto.
agreed, i’m just glad we have two companies that do make really good quality games
Lmfao “gta killer”? 2077 was supposed to be a “gta killer” too, but everyone who played in the beginning knows how that one panned out. Spoiler alert: it wasn’t even close.
All these PlayStation guys are 3rd person lovers because thats all they have lol
Ps has nothing to do with this most people prefer third person stop the console war mindset
I'm not excited for the next Cyberpunk. No matter how realistic CD Projekt Red makes it, they can’t match the level of detail Rockstar Games puts into their games. Especially in the next decade, they won’t be able to compete with this giant.
In terms of combat and gameplay maybe yes, But in terms of immersiveness open world activities NPC behaviour AI etc. They dont even come close even to their older games lile Gta 4 or 5 or rdr2
@@princerawat4297 agreed my bro🤜
take a breathe bro...
??
???
The rumours are new Cyberpunk is going to be as woke as it gets...
It's like the dumb asf Xbox vs Playstation bs all over again. Why are we comparing Cyberpunk which never tried to be GTA versus GTA? They're two different games, no game needs to kill another, games can also co-exist. What is this weird obsession everyone has with one game killing another? So dumb lmao. We don't need another game to die, just enjoy both?? So weird..
facts i agree! like i said in the video something’s gotta be up there or better than gta 6! having two all time games is just great for gamers
Next Cyberpunk game? LOL chill bro it won't happen for at least 10 years..... they will make Witcher 4 first
At least 2030.
Next cyberpunk gonna be woke 😂
GTA killer? Aren’t both rockstar and CDPR infested with woke bs ideologies rn. If anything they’re both their own killers of history repeats it’s self
Next cyberpunk is DOA; their studios moved to North America and have been infected by the WOKE mind virus.
Ok Weirdo...🤡🤡🤡
If they don't go 3rd person I'm out I played Cyberpunk and it was an 8 for me would have been a 10 if 3rd person but devs got lazy.
Cp77 is lame. It ain't no rpg but s far cry game
As long as u r stuck in first person, this game could never kill a game as big as gta. I hate first person games and will never buy them
@@DEVIOUS1REEMGEEZ52 with everyone all in agreement with wanting a third &first person Cyberpunk experience, i think they’ll take that approach for sure. either that or more cutscenes like we were promised in the deep dive
Has nothing to do with the angle of the camera, just the giant machine GTA is. GTA has had multiple racing, shooting games to implement all in the GTA gameplay. It’s hard to compete with without years and years product building. It’s possible, just not in the upcoming 5-10 years
lol this guy
No, they should stick to first person only, thanks to that their cinematic cutscenes are next level and immersion is next level
I personally love first person
