I love you, Charlie. I was born and raised in NOLA, but moved to Atlanta in 96. I was just telling my 21 year old son about stuffed mirlitons about two weeks ago. He has no idea how good it was to eat like I did in NOLA growing up. Thanks for the recipes. I've been watching you for a long time. Stay safe brother.

I turned all my Granddaughters to your channel so they can stop asking me to cook New Orleans meals. Thank you for keeping it New Orleans style. It’s honestly the greatest thing I may have ever tasted in my life. When I was younger I got into a lot of trouble because I would sneak and grab literal handfuls of it while my family was sleeping.

When I use to work in a supermarket up here in NY, a lot of west Indian people would buy mirliton but it was labeled as "chayote". I never tasted it though. Always have been curious. this recipe looks really good, and I want to try it

I grew up eating country cooking and don't try many things. Since I began watching your channel I don't think you've made a single thing I wouldn't try. This looks wonderful. Not sure we can get mirlitons in Arkansas. I've never seen one. Oh, also, you have the cleanest cook's oven I ever saw.
