Father of Hillary Brown reacts to the arrest of Gulf Breeze surgeon Ben Brown

Hillary Brown’s father Marty Ellington says he is "happy about the arrest," but adds it was a "gut punch" to hear Dr. Brown posted a $50,000 and was released from jail.

I sincerely hope that this guy Benjamin Brown loses his medical licences permanently. I refuse to call him a physician and/or Surgeon. From the videos I’ve seen that patients filmed in his office, universal infection control standards were nonexistent in that office. I saw that one patient’s video that she said her husband filmed. With all the hospital acquired infections that ppl were acquiring from his office you’d think the medical board would have been asking questions before this guy killed his wife. I’ve read a few patients had to get PICC lines placed for a year plus to fight the infections that they picked up at his subpar so called practice. I doubt he even owned a autoclave since they were scrubbing instruments in a bucket of water. I had a charge nurse that went to Mexico and landed in the same position and almost died. Ppl sadly don’t understand how serious situations like this are until they see it up close and personal. I also read that one employee said that they were drinking the Versed to take the edge off. My jaw hit the floor. Words fail me on that.

Exactly!! This awful. I don’t understand why the judge would allow him to be released on bail. He needs to be charged for murder.

I would think that he has been banned from practicing medicine for the time being, so his practice will hopefully stay closed.
