Real EDM Martin Garrix was often generic at first (apart from Animals and Virus) but after he left Spinnin Records and created his own label, he improved. But still it’s nothing compared to 1993-2005 (maybe 2008-2010 but oh well) This is why Deadmau5 often criticises EDM today

They don't know. They don't know its significance. It's not their fault. They went for the instagram stories and pictures. It hurt to see the drop come and the crowd going meh. They didn't even react until the fireworks came. SMH... More impressed with the fireworks than the music. If I had been there I don't know what I would've done... probably cried a bit. It would've been amazing to hear it live. But the mood of the crowd not reacting the same way I would've would have ruined my mood as well.
