I got one for my 12th Birthday in 1973...I still have it and runs with the tubes it came with...speaker has a small tear in it, but I dont want to replace it really. I guess its a keeper because i wont part with it. Also you can't beat the smell of it when it starts warming up
I bought a 1966 Fender Vibro Champ in mint condition but I installed a 10” Jensen Tornado Neo and it sounds awesome , what Weber did you install in this Champ
Sounds great. I wish you would have cranked it then adjusted volume on guitar to compare how it cleans up at lower volume. I need to research a Vibro Champ. Never heard of it til now. Thanks for the info.
I saw this in a pawn shop and about 18 years ago and they had it marked as a PA speaker for $60. I talked them down to $50 and bought it.
Major score!

Sounds good. I had a 72 Champ just like yours. I wish I never sold it.
They now go for 1K plus !
What Weber speaker
I bought my 73 Champ at a pawn shop for $40 about 2 years ago. I changed the speaker from a Pyle to a Weber. It sounds so much better.
Score!
Yeah, I'd call it a SCORE.
