Adam was the true winner. Adam is not only an idol but will be an icon.
i'm not a musician or a vocalist but i also appreciated others performance. and here's the thing, Adam Lambert is the only human who truly blown up me away. for the first time in my lifetime history. i don't know how or wen. but absolutely its true. i'll supported him,no matter wat! he's the greatest artist ever. and i hope he wins. vote my friends.=)

Only you can give Adam the chance to be the American Idol. Don't be too comfortable and don't take things for granted. You hold the future for Adam. Remember that Kris Allen fans are also gearing up their votes because they know that Adam is very popular. I haven't posted a comment on UA-cam for a while but this calls for my action and I'm doing Adam a huge favor by acting as a Glambert fan. SO PLEASE VOTE, VOTE, VOTE. I think adam should have sang the aerosmith hit "Dude looks like a lady", because she sure sounds like one. He murdered the song! Adam - it's not broadway, it's called ROCK AND ROLL.
he is THE most original contestant this season. Even you haters must admit that, if you hear the original versions of the songs he performed. Some of us like contestants that bring something new to the table. It's much more refreshing and entertaining than good karaoke. And not everyone hates his 'gay' acts. Axl Rose (lead singer of GnR) was even more gay, but we like him.
If you dont like him, haters, dont vote for him. I can respect that. But you must ALSO respect people liking him.
im gonna just point out to, adams most viewed vid i think is mad world, with about 450kviews. kris has man heartless's out there, one in particular has about 800k views. in days... another has 300.. lol.. the voting is going to be a blow out, but adam will probably be fine..

That's a pretty odd logic. If new and unique people didn't make music it would never evolve - and that would be pretty damn boring. Adam has been making waves the world over - everybody in awe of his incredible vocal skills and charismatic stage presence.

Adam's "shit" is not the same every week. You don't get bored with him. One week he does "Tracks of My Tears" and then a couple of weeks later, he does "Whole Lotta Love". They are both great songs but completely different. One is Motown and the other is Rock n Roll. And yes, I know what your going to say. It was 2 different themes for each week. But then look at "If I Can't Have You". That is nothing like the BeeGees! It's called Adam Lambert. :]

Actually there are a number of Adam videos that have around the million mark in viewings, literally type the letters a and d into the search box and his name will come up ;)
Adam went from Tracks of my tears, to Feeling good to Whole Lotte Love to One, hardly the same. Mad World and Tracks of my tears didn't have any particularly big high notes. And let's not pretend Kris would have covered Heartless if he hadn't heard the Frey's version, same as David Cook wouldn't have done Billie Jean if he hadn't heard Cornell's version. Now Adam's version of If I can't have you - that was original.

Oh so he just happened to come up with the idea of an acoustic version of Heartless, and it just so happened to be after the Frey did an acoustic version....hmm, surely you're not that naive?! Adam sings Cryin' how it's meant to be sung, Steven tyler is renowned for his over the top vocals. it's funny how the judges have had nothing but praise for Adam over the last few weeks.

I agree! The studio version is better because it is in sync. She sounds screechy and way of pitch live.
i think its better that he didnt win becuase if he did he would be tied to a contract right after american idol he will have all the time in the world to make his album great. Also he wont always be known as an american idol. Being second runner up i believe is better in the long run.

at around 0:30 the backup singer tries to do an adam note and totally messes up. she should leave the high notes to the one and only master himself!!

He didn't steal it, but he had a blue print to follow - that is not the same as completely reinventing a song, a la Ring Of Fire or If I Can't Have You. David Cook's Billie Jean wasn't EXACTLY the same as Chris Cornell's version, but the original idea was still Cornell's, therfore he gets the credit. Vocally Kris certainly does not have more talent, as a performer you may think he does, but that's purely SUBJECTIVE.
LFEyourface, exactly, for real, like this is what we are trying to express, Kris has no original voice, he is just like all the others, we need originality and Adam brings that.

No, people didn't vote for him because he isn't mainstream shit like Kris is. I think most people can tell the difference from an extremely talented voice going higher pitch than you usually hear from a normal artist and someone screaming out words, and obviously you can't.
