... I didn't realize that the guy who makes these shorts was onboard MTS-635 back in 2008 during the Sanitation Tank Blow during HPAC operations.... (because no kidding that happened to us. You do NOT want to be on ship's air wearing a force-fed mask when poo particles were airborne during tank pressurization!!)

So in theory if im a firefighter I need to just light an ⅛ on fire next to the inlet while filling my bottle and then I'd be surely able to relax while inside a burning building, but then again if it makes you cough it's not like you can take it off for a "break from the smoke" nevermind it's a flawed idea from the very beginning 😅🤦♂️

Trust me also when I say that breathing that is horrendous. And trust me when I say that cleaning out a steam suit that's been vomited in after being hooked to poo-contaminated ship's air is almost as bad as breathing in the poo initially. Especially when you're NOT the one who vomited in the steam suit, because that guy's being evaluated by medical after passing out from breathing toxic fumes. It was not a grand day, and is one I will unfortunately NEVER forget.

Our air-conditioner was inside the shop and was a recirculator, like you can do with your car. One evening, I had to go on a troubleshooting call, but before I left, I ripped ass right next to the aircon intake, right next to the door. I could hear gagging as I laughed my happy ass away. According to nose-witness testimony, not a square inch of air in that space wasn't contaminated with my shit-particles. I got written up for "malicious farting," but Chief's eyes said he was proud of me for it as he was chewing me out.
