I LOVE this method, no mound of sand necessary, can make multiple in same sand bucket! Brilliant!! Thank you so much for this pro tip and am headed outside now to start my own project❤
I'm thrilled you love the method! I still have my birdbath, and I love it. I did it this way because I wanted to have both a beautifully detailed bottom part and the bowl. I would recommend using a pet-friendly sealer to ensure durability if you're using it as a birdbath. Thank you so much for the kind words. Have fun with your project! 😊💖
I’ve never seen anyone do it this way, it’s always upside down over a mound of sand, very interesting. Also, dish gloves are much sturdier and will not tear like the Nitrile gloves do, they are not made for the rough cement application…Looks nice good job!
Thank you so much! I appreciate the tip about the dish gloves; I'll definitely give them a try next time to avoid any tearing. Thanks for the encouragement and for watching my video! 😊💖
My rhubarb leaf birdbath is just set on its own between some flowers and close to a sprinkler, so it’s always filled with water. It’s a simple setup, but it works wonderfully for the birds and other wildlife!😊💖
Hi thank you so much for watching my Channel and welcome to more craftier😊I took quikrete Mason mix from Home Depot, this way, you don’t have to mix anything together. It’s a really fine material 😊i used sand on the bottom of the container to form my leaf 😊 The ratio of Cement and sand would be: 2 part sand and 1 part cement

when finished, does your rhubarb leaf bird bath just set on its own or do you have a stand/pedestal for it?
