great video. I also have the MCT bag. I would say its my favorite bag. i also have the MB3, TP4B, MP2 and MB. I think i have a veto problem. I used to be engineer for a pharma company but now do Property maintenance. thanks
Sounds a lot like me, I have the MCT, TPXL, OTXL and TP5B ... now I’m dying the OT-MC... same footprint as the MCT but open top, I’m thinking it would be a good general tools bag to live on my cart
@@SomeGuywithTools yea, I purchased a rubber maid plastic cart from someone on Offer up (got a great deal) and use that when Im working on a site that I have to walk a good ways to transport tools. i usually have two or more vetos on the cart.
nice tool bag, I own the tech mc an I'm considering upgrading to this bag (the tech mct)... a nice collection of tools, I also own some wera combination wrenches.....and your right, they are pricey but they are phenomenal.... nice upload,,,,
I have this bag and i love it , i can get everything i need into it and its small enough to stop me overloading and making it too heavy to carry around.....
I wish Veto made this bag with a handle like the RB-MC. I have the RB-MC and while I can make it work with my tools, it would work out so much better with a full Tech style setup inside.
This Tech-MCT is the same bag body as the RB-MC, but it doesn’t have the same top handle that you’re looking for.. that said, I’ve never had an issue with this handle that’s on the Tech-MCT.
Both are great, I like Wiha for screwdrivers and pliers. Wera is great for wrenches, socket sets, and their portable little kits. Their screwdrivers are great as well, I just prefer the handle shape of the Wiha’s
I do have a tool cart, and I use it the majority of the time. But I try to tackle the simpler calls without it first and stick to working out of a tool bag, if that doesn't cut it then I'll wheel in my cart.
How did you land a position as an commercial technician engineer ? I would love to learn more about your position and I love doing more than just one thing.
Haha ya, I’m sure... I’m a building engineer, I work in occupied spaces, not demo or construction sites, my bags don’t get super dirty and I make an effort to keep them clean
The strap itself is comfy, it all just depends how much you load up the bag whether it will feel too heavy… if I cram it full though it gets heavy, but not unbearable
I have that bag and I love it!. got recently the TP-XL and gave it to my plumber, I HATE THAT BAG!!!!!!!!!!. it won't hold the tools I need and tip over all the time, it is not a stable bag.
@@SomeGuywithTools : I am a commercial laundry technician and I need a cordless impact, some specialty pliers and there is simply no room for my tools and the bag continually keeps tipping over and I got fed up with it so I got rid of.
@@SomeGuywithTools : Today, 2/4/21 got the Veto Tech Pac MC backpack and I LOVE IT!. I also have a Tech Pac Hi-Viz and I also like it but sometimes is too big for the job I need so the MC is perfect unlike the PT-XL.
@@engineer1793 I’m in Texas. This bag is mostly for my service calls, my daily is the TP-XL.. but if I get another bag this one will become dedicated to HVAC
Get decent tools. Get all Klein cutters and screwdrivers. Get yourself some channel lock pliers. Just because you have German shit doesn’t make them better. Just blowing money to pretend you are better. I lived in Europe and had Wha and Knipex. Everyone there was seeking Klein. Come on man, don’t show off! People know better.
Thought I was going to be watching a video to see what the tool bag was about and tools used although I don’t work on electric. The video ended up as a commercial for Weha and Knipex. It’s quite interesting how people that have these brand tools work less. Not hating but you could make the video without spending the time bragging about the brands. You remind me of ladies trying to justify the price of a $1000 purse.
@@joep4143 haha I like that analogy even though you’re making fun of me, I guess these tools and bags are kind of a guys version of those expensive purses. I’m not sure how owning these brands translates to me working less than someone who owns klein and channel locks but that’s cool if that’s how you feel. The difference between me owning these tools and owning cheaper ones is that it motivates me to take care of them, so every few weeks I clean them and lube them so they stay working for as long as I do
@@SomeGuywithTools Great answer. I apologize. It makes perfect sense. Invest more money and you take care of them better. In the long run you have great tools that cost less because they last longer. You should actually say that in the video. You would be doing a service to people watching because they wouldn’t be wasting money replacing cheaper tools that they don’t respect. Sorry for being a prick. Makes all the sense in the world now.
I recommend the Milwaukee foldable jab saw with removable sawzall blades, perfect for any closed bag
I have the same back pack the blackout version am an appliance tech love working with those Allen keys soo friking Precise.

Is it comfortable carrying it with the shoulder strap?

If you’re dead set on that type of hinged top handle, it looks like you’d have to go up to one of the Tech Pac models
Great video and nice loadout!
Wera or wiha. Which you like more

What’s the longest tool in there ?
Cool load out of your tech mct
Great job on this video
Nice setup
Glad you think so! Thanks for watching!
I’m also in building engineering field plumbing first then everything else. Do you have a tool cart you use to go through out the building?

Nice setup mate. 👌
Thanks 👍 ... and thanks for watching!

I never knew this field existed lol does it pay well in Texas? I'm in Texas too but I'm an industrial maintenance tech
Hi. I was wondering what joker version is that you have? The imperial or metric? Nice setup btw
These jokers are the imperial set
Nice video
Looks like it's never been used are you sure you've had the MCT for 6 months?

Where did you order your wiha Allen wrench set?
That came directly from wiha.com .... KCTool.com is also a great source for hand tools!
