I fucking love Idaho; just imagine playing drums in a band and getting to open for Idaho and Red House Painters in September 1993 BUT you've just been kicked out of the band bc you acted like a d*ck and have to watch the show...fucking just like this music, gawddamn heart-breaking....yep I lived that, here in Houston Tx. Respect and love to HK, JJ, Tracy from Ron...
This way out is one of the most perfect rock albums ever, and i only ever heard it by accident (apparently emptying the record shop it was playing in)pearls before swine !
RIP John Berry. He died the same day as David Bowie. He had already left the band at the time of this video, but he and Jeff formed the band together in the beginning.
Didn't you guys do this show w Low back then? Who opened? Even Steven on skill and talent between the two bands.. Good luck on the new release, Jeff & all allies of IDAHO ~ Some guy Joe from Chicago ~
YES!!!! Anymore from this show (besides Skyscrape and Get You Back) to post? Jeff and Dan made Idaho soar like never before or since. Where are you Dan? I (and probably many others here) wish you and Jeff could hook up again for another recording.
Cannot begin to express how I feel about the band and this song. What a feeling
One of the greatest pieces of music I know
Fucking great. So few know the quiet majesty of restraint.

Seeing these guys and Low would be a dream come true for me
I also uploaded the Low show on this channel as well. Enjoy!

Can't stop watching this at least once a day...
my dear friends, you were so so good.
Jeff's (Idaho) masterpiece. In my all time top 5.
Genius.

I wish i was in LA in 1996.
I was at this show, and I'm amazed at how well you shot it and recorded the audio. I feel like I'm back at the Knitting Factory again
Aw, thanks David! It was a fantastic show, glad you can re-live it a bit.
@@JulianRad I find myself back here again because I'm so excited to see the new documentary!

Dan works in IT in LA. He's not really making much music these days, but he's still very close with Jeff. Who knows what'll happen in the future...
@@turingtapethe new guitarist really captures Dan’s feel
