Fantastic video but I have to say you have to be a newcomer to Joe Rogan because the Mencia story should be a tier 1 fact. At the very least tier 2. It was the main reason the podcast itself started getting viewers way back in the Justin TV/Ustream days. The video of the Mencia confrontation was shot by Redban. The video and controversy went viral. I feel like most people know that fact about him. Unless his fan base skews mostly young which I doubt.

It’s an opinion that people who have little experience playing drums would say. I think that what they’re actually referring to are quantised aggressive kicks and snares that are locked to the grid programmed by an engineer (and potentially used live as backing tracks for drummers that utilise them).
I’ve only watched a couple jre episodes but watched all of this and it was great. Hopefully this means this is being pushed to a larger audience as it’s a phenomenal video

Joe talked about the removed episodes on his podcast - as he said in your clip they didn't want certain ones on their platform but he was "allowed" (hmm...) to keep his choice of them up on UA-cam.
Now that might seem a bit weak... but $100,000,000.... you can understand! Particularly if they're not the best episodes and he doesn't necessarily agree with the opinion of said controversial guest.

Im not an expert on wildfires, but there was a news segment recently on Channel 7 in Australia which said that HALF of all the fires were the result of arson. I remember when I was little my family witnessed a guy throwing some kind fire out of his car. It happens, and more than likey is the result of attempts to drive out local populations. Its not really farfetched at all.

Joe is human and he was not prepared for the amount of fame he has achieved. Podcasting was a joke when he started and it’s only recently become mainstream. He’s made mistakes and definitely become a better person. Idk maybe I’m bias but I listen to his podcasts because of the guests and his ability to talks to the guests and get the most out of them. He’s not afraid to push back, he’s not afraid to say his opinion, I think he’s the one person that has achieved fame who did it honestly and ethically.
