You are really like a local walking around the area of guadalupe, local people in that area are very friendly. You should have run for the barangay chairman of BGC!
They had a good laugh when you said youre the chairman of BGC. The Philippines smallest local government unit is called Barangay and it will have elections on October 30. The campaign started a few days ago.There's also the SK Sanggunian ng Kabataan for the youth. So Cities or Towns are split into barangays. Cities are either independent or component. Independent means they are run independent of the province. For example, Cebu City is the capital of Cebu province but Cebu City is ran independently by the mayor and not under the governor. Therefore Cebu City residents do not vote for provincial positions. A Component City like Bacoor in Cavite is under the province and Bacoor residents vote for provincial positions.

The part of Guadalupe where you went is Guadalupe Nuevo (New Guadalupe). If you cross EDSA, that will be Guadalupe Viejo (Old Guadalupe). Try to explore that area, it has an old church Nuestra Senora de Gracia you can feature. Walking there will bring you to Poblacion and Rockwell... Nuevo also has its own nice church National Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe.

Yes, too many vloggers in BGC, she is right. They're like a plague of locusts, and I say that as a foreigner who has lived in Manila for more than a decade. Real living, not here only for vlogging. I have no desire to live in an anodyne place like BGC and never have in my time here in Manila.

You should improve speaking in tagalog. Foreigners come here in Philippines making us speak in English so that we could understand you and even praising us that we take English class seriously. I don't bite that, Whenever I crossed path with a foreigner asking me directions or just want to talk, I speak in Tagalog. If they can't understand me that's their problem. If he mocks me I don't know how to speak in English I show them that I can speak just a little then speak tagalog again. You come here in our country, learn to speak in Tagalog.
