Ascian prime will never not be a hilarious experience to new players and having them understand how the flare and ice stars are way quicker than they realize. I feel for them because I was in their shoes once, but whenever I’m in that dungeon, it’s always a coin flip if people know how to do it, or otherwise. Also you using that Pokke Village theme at the beginning made me smile Azu, I love Freedom Unite so much.
Ah I miss Pokke and PSP claw gaming sometimes.

Good! All it does is spawn some adds, but now you can just ignore them because you burn down the boss so quickly

If I were to design the roulette system, and if I were aware that even mentors often may not always remember all mechanics in all instances, I could opt for a high chance to get into the same instance consecutively. This increases the chance to understand the mechanics of that instance considerably. And it also increases the chance that at least someone in the party can explain why everyone else dies in a weak party.
I think you might be onto something here...

I only just started with my mentor roulette journey - 47 since last weekend... Its faster than I thought... but yeah, sometimes also more annoying. Funfact: you learn all the old fights as they were intended XD
Yeah it can go relatively fast if you smash them out in the span of a few days! And yeah those close call EX timers always feel good when you manage the clear and see a bunch of sprouts get cutscenes xD

I did the same thing with ziggy earlier today, but I was playing tank so it didn't matter much
Ascian Prime is the hardest normal boss in the game. It's never not a nailbiter if you're playing a class without a rez.
Oh god if I were a DPS without a res and the roles were switched with a DPS and healer dying to the mech everytime... I'd lose my sanity

yeah, all they do is spawn adds if you leave them too long but nowadays you kill the boss so fast it's whatever!
2:44 but to be fair i have to say i often dont see the stackmarkers as tank because of the boss so if i hear music or something while playing i often dont get it ... at the same time thats maybe because i nearly never play tank just played them to get them to 90 so im most likely not the "normal everyday tank" xD
15:44 but to be honest for a "normal mode" that mechanic is pretty fast ... i love that fight but yeah its fast and especially if you dont know it its nearly sure that you will get hit ;D
I don’t think odin can really be considered a normal mode. He doesn’t pop in the trial roulette i see him as the one true (hard mode) trial something between normal and ex.
Yeah I suppose you have a point, I say it more so because he isn't in the "High-end trials (A Realm Reborn)" section, but I didn't actually know you can't get him in trial roulette, that's interesting
Hard disagree on Behemoth in MHW! I hate that fight so much I still get nightmates everytime I see that monstrosity in CT
Each to their own! I think it's a bit odd they chose to go the MMO mechanics of having a tank and I think for the next collab in wilds I'd prefer to just see a monster from 14 but designed to be a Monster Hunter encounter and the same for 14! Would be cool to see something like Fatalis, but ditch the MH mechanics and just give us a full on raid with Fatalis with MMO mechanics, I think that would be cool and they'd stick to what their good at!
