Mind BLOWN. I hadn’t put 2 and 2 together about Aegon 4 legitimizing all of his bastards, including the ones in Essos, but now that you point it out, you’re absolutely right and it makes perfect sense. Maybe their story adds to the theme of “you’ll lead a happier and more prosperous life if you pursue your talents and things that you enjoy, rather than seeking power for the sake of power.” The current Bellegere seems much happier more satisfied with her life than any of the Westerosi Targaryens
Yeah that's a wild idea. Technically that means Faegon could be of that line himself and therefore be literally both blackfyre AND Targaryen. That's insane to think about lol.
We can't forget about Saera Targaryen's progeny either, we know she have at least 3 sons, being one the image of king Jaehaerys in his youth, being possible that her descendants are still alive in the series
You never fail to find new and interesting ASOIAF topics. Another great video! So do you think these lost dragons will have expanded stories in future world building tales such as other world books? Or do you think this is more of a fun easteregg GRRM left for the close reader?
There's lots of lost Targaryen lines. We have Aerion Brightflame's bastereds in Essos, his true born son Maegor who just goes missing (some people including me believe he is actually The Tattered Prince), Aegon II had lots of bastareds in Kingslanding, Saera Targaryen had multiple sons that tried to claim the throne after Jaehaerys I...
Curious... and important to keep in mind, I think. One thing I can't quite get my head around tho... Viserys (Dany's brother) once described Drogo as "Aegon the Dragonlord come again". In light of you bringing up the lost Targaryen of Braavos... might it be possible that Drogo is descended from this Belariand?... and that he is actually Drogo Targaryen? I mean with a name - "Drogo" - which sounds an awful lot like "dragon"... it's hard to dismiss this? I heard someone ask about Drogo... but my thought was, if he is Aegon come again, where the heck did he come from. YOU might have just provided the answer.
@@Dragon.um5tz i believe the image of killmonger is a stand in for whoever the heir of the Essosi Targaryen branch is. Like when a young Robert Baratheon is talked about in videos they sometimes show Gendry, as an approximation
Daeron wasnt part dornish... he married a dornish woman and his children would be 1/2 dornish
This was an error on my part. My commentary about the xenophobia Daeron dealt with still stands, but I was incorrect about his parentage.
@@KevinPendragonno one said he didn’t deal with the xenophobia..

I was always fascinated by Bellegre Orys!
Bellgere also Half Valiryan since his Father Sealord of Bravoos was Valiryan from Old Blood. but his Mother was Summer isle Princess.
Balerion becomes Sea Lord of Braavos while his sisters are Pirate Queens. Descendants of Aegon control the three eggs lost during Jaehaerys

I'm pretty sure you're the first ASOIAF channel that I know of to talk about this, nice job, I had completely forgotten about this stuff!

What a nice twist, the IT ends up in the hands of a totally-not-Italian... Braavosi banker
Yes, the court was full of Braavosi notablemen.
Yes, he was of notable birth.
The notability was quite decadent.
Black Targaryens.
Black. Targaryens.

Thanks dude. And I dont think they'll be important. Just neat background characters kind of like Robert's heirs popping up every now and again.
This has long been one of my favorite parts of a song of ice and fire and I hate that it's constantly ignored
All these theories about hidden Targaryens meanwhile there were three staring us right in the face

Maybe this has something to do with Nettles
Nettles was from a generation or so before these events
Wait Littlefinger is a descendant of a Braavosi

Oh 😮. Super intresting
Why nott use a picture of Agon IV instead of the fifth?
Why is Killmonger on your thumbnail he has nothing to do with Game of Thrones
When i finish the video ill try and explain
because Balerion & Killmonger are Black claimant of a throne? idk
@@jgr7487 but Killmonger is not part of the song of ice and fire universe he’s a part of the Marvel universe

Bro Daeron is not half dornish both of his parents are Targaryen
Yeah I thought so…didn’t he marry a Dornish girl though. His parents were Aegon and his sister wife Nerys at least I think so.
