Uhhhhhh
My best soup
I thought it was just me.
@@Kikifoodies You're not alone oh
I am from Ghana and we also make groundnut soup, so many similarities within our cultures. So beautiful to see. Thank you for the video
literally every african country does lol
@@mariatt293 where's the joke though?
@@mariatt293 most other africans dont even eat "soup" like this just the west African coast. Nobody in Tanzania is eating this or has even seen this before stop tryna make africa a monolith. Cultures vary by region
Really nice 👍 buh for Etsako people (in Edo state) palm oil is not optional. It’s actually necessary.
True 🤣🤣🤣
Very necessary
Very correct
I'm also Etsako from Jattu, I wanted to say this when I saw your comment❤
My mom doesn't use palm oil, she said it's not necessary and we are from Fugar Estako central,
I’m representing the Edo’s
You did great !!!
You did great ma,but we don't peal the groundnut back and red oil is not optional it's a must
#proudly Etsako west
I am Etsako as well.
But we are allowed to twerk right? And I grew up seeing my Mummy an Etsako Princess peeling the back.
Very correct
Thanks for sharing ma this is my husband's best soup to eat basmati rice
Wow this is yummy will try it
Just watched again... really nice video... 🏆
I just make the frying method, next time I will try this method, thanks for sharing 🙏🙏😋😋
Awwww. I miss this. Going to make it soon. My children would love it. I have a full bucket of groundnut paste, so I can cook away lazily 😁😁.
Recipe saved my butt in this Akata! Merci.
Seen many other videos of this soup but this is the best one, take this from a first time subscriber 🥰
I will try this definitely
Proudly Edo. Thanks for sharing

Hi kiki are you based in the abroad, your videos always give this abroad vibe/looks lol, this is/was a nice watch from you as always ❤️
I really like the Preparation. This technique is super. Good Job sis 💯👍💕
Thanks hun
Wahoo, this style is cooked with any palm oil at all . would try this soon
Nicely
This is slightly different from the way we make ours but I'll definitely try this method out.
Hi Kiki. Can I use already roasted and peeled Groundnut???
Does it taste like peanuts? Or not so much. I've only taste it once many years ago. I would like to try making it.... Thanks for the video. 🇺🇸💖
The first time i ever taste groundnut soup,it was an Etsako woman she come finish everything with bush meat,i nearly eat my finger join food.
Really nice...can one use the regular roasted peanut??
Absolutely
I'm missing iru and uziza.... will it still taste the same?
Please what is uziza and can I omit died prawn and bitter leaf(I don’t like them)
Can I use already fried peanuts?
Yes you can
No oil? Is it a must.
Pls ma is it raw groundnut u used?
No. You can use already roasted peanuts
Am from Edo state ,This is not the way i prepared my own grandnut soup ooo. , I don't use too grand the grandnut with water instead with onions ND dried pepper ,,oil
Is not healthy food, oki, is sweet though
Why not healthy?
This is not Edo peanut soup. They use palm oil, and the peanut is ground with a dry grind, not wet. Please rename this soup. Misleading title
It makes no difference if it’s dry grind or wet. Uziza seeds hardly dry blends smoothly. Plus if you watched the video, I mentioned you can add oil if you prefer, I’ve always made mine without oil added as peanut mostly fat. There’s absolutely nothing misleading about the title.
😭😭😭. Nigerians are rude
Please encourage her efforts and she told us to use oil if we want it.
This her method is exactly how I grew up to groundnut soup
God bless you o
Thanks for sharing this amazing recipe, I have a taste of this soup in Benin and I have been looking forward to preparing it for myself
