@@ACupOfBooks i read short Christian books as a cleanser. I love God but I do better learning from the bible and podcasts. There are college level deep thinkiing God books about history and science I want to like but I dont. My life is stressful and I cannot spare the mental energy. Sometimes i find a short book on poetry is nice too.
Hi Emma, I am new to your channel and was hoping you'd do a dedicated video on this genre. So, thank you! I really enjoy your videos. I just bought "The four temperaments" from eBay and I am looking fwd to dig into that one sounds so good.
Oh I’m so pleased! I figured no one was interested in my romance stuff 🤣 I hope you enjoy The Four Temperaments. It’s a truly beautiful read. Welcome to the channel
What a fun video. Might be just the thing for an airplane read. Do you put something over the cover so no one can see what you are grinning about. Flying to London and train on to Scotland, might be great for a my travels. Thanks so much for the recommendations. Looking for fun Scottish setting books.
I tend to read them on kindle, more because many of them are on kindle unlimited and so part of the subscription. Also they are a bit cheaper on Kindle and so the speed I read them feels less wasteful XD But I have no shame for reading them in public, many of the girls at work are romance readers and so our conversations in the staffroom can get a little ridiculous!
Intriguing list! I think Kerrigan Byrne is the only author here I know of, so you've given me some to check out. Have you read Erica Riley's Wild Wynchesters? That is I think my current fave running historical series
I like true memoirs i find for cheap on amazon of oldmartied couples. Like married 60 years. Real people and their lives together❤
Fun review❤. Im not a romance reader but love to see others enjoying reading📚📖
Im reading a pirate true story
That’s fair. I knew this video wouldn’t be for everyone. Romance definitely exists as a lovely palate cleanser for me in my reading.

Just love this! One can read serious non fiction and also fluffy/smutty romances. There should be no shame in loving what you read ❤
Exactly :) and I feel like I accidentally downplay my romance reading outside of monthly wrap ups, so its time to shine more of a spotlight on it!
