One thing I want to say to non Bengalis don't come here during Ashtami,Nabami , it's so crowded that you will be lost! If you want to experience Durga Puja in peace come from Mahalaya. Find a Bengali calendar and know about the Mahalaya day and come accordingly! It's a very good suggestion 🙂 don't take it lightly! We celebrate this puja for 10days! From Mahalaya ( pratipad/ prathama) to Bijaya Dashami. And the host is perfect, beautiful, and well versed.😍 Thanks curly tales! Next time if you cover Durga Puja season,do wear a red & white saree with red blouse! That iconic Bengali saree!

This is KUMORTULI not KUMARTULI . please don't think I am giving you "Gyan" but actually KUMOR & KUMAR have different meaning in Bengali (Actually in Hindi too) Kumar means Male child, Sons ,Prince in some community its a part of Surname too .
