If this was in Texas or Arkansas this would have been done in 15 minutes. They don't mess around over there. No. The cops had a brain fart and assumed the garage had no exit. Like it's a storage unit or something... The garage does have a door, so that the apartment on the other side of the yard can access it. The cops lost him to a brain fart. I bet you the cop that ran up said "suspect is cornered" and thought he had earned a promotion. SMH, waste of tax money... this guy did not escape, the cops lost him.
I still cant fathom the reasoning behind taking such a car to try and escape the police AND helicopter. When both are on your tail what the heck do you think the outcome will be?

San Fernando PD, have you not seen the side of the patrol vehicles and notice a difference in them? LAPD has a much smaller logo and does not have a Huge POLICE sign on the side of their squad cars.
