The table cloth scene seems a bit improvised only because lokis chuckly response 'okay..' seemed a bit like it took him by surprise and he just ran with it 🤣

The writers/producers said that they were trying to show Loki going thru his very first romantic experience, which included the God of Mischief being somewhat tongue tied by his lady love who was, in fact, even more obnoxious and sarcastic (IMPO) than Loki himself. Basically, he could say what he did or completely ruin the moment by responding in kind. He wanted to stay in the small little world of the blanket (or, for all the audience knew, it WAS a tablecloth but again, he wanted to be up close and personal w Sophie). Lying is not an issue w Loki. [One of my tv/movie husbands…] 😘🥰
