You have to turn around the "Air Intake" under the nose. The print has to be on the Front. Yours is pointing backwards. 😉

I wonder why cobi doesn't use the same nose construction technique for other water-cooled engines. The other techniques look blocky while this one is perfect.

The BF 109 never misses to impress me
I only noticed this after building it. Why did they give us a short gun and a long gun for the wings? Also my pilot fits pretty nicely, maybe it's just your model? Overall I love this model, it's a nice aesthetic upgrade to the last one.

Well good set if you don’t have a BF-109, like me, but I think even though there are changes, it looks almost identical as the one Cobi had most recently out before this. Great video though
Yeah I have the other one. But I want this one because of it's more accurate details, such as the elevator being lifted up a bit. The new gear, nose design, and wing design also are much smoother and so much better looking, even the underside. Every single piece of it has been redesigned to look smoother and more realistic, so it does seem similar, but a closer look shows it's much different.

I really like the cobi planes alot but the thing about the big planes like Stuka or B-17 is that over time they loose stability really fast

The nose of this model is so accurate
There are a few quirks with the set.
- Some parts don't quite fit together correctly
- The landing gear stick out like a sore thumb
- The book does very little to clarify what color you should be using
- Reused parts from other sets (the windshield is reused from the Corsair), which results in the canopy not being smooth
- There are a couple unexplained holes (for example, right behind the canopy)
- I myself had THREE missing parts that had to be shipped.
Overall I'd give this a 6/10. It looks cool but can be annoying and has flaws.
I’m pretty sure the canopy is a reuse of the wildcats canopy, not the Corsair.
@@SilentSamurai73 I said the windshield, not the canopy. I have both sets and the windshield is indeed a direct copy of the old corsair

There’s multiple things I like better about the old bf-109, and first is the nose cap. It looks more realistic, and doesn’t have a random indent acting like a machine gun. Also, it has a spot in the wings for the landing gear to actually fold into. No hate towards Cobi, I just like the old model in some ways.
The actual bf 109 e3 has a spinner mounted cannon, and, most of the 109s still had a small indent in the spinner, like the bf 109 b1.

Can you build a f-22 from Lego's sets
that is definitely very difficult and besides, Lego does not have the important bricks for such a project. Simple, it is equal to a finished set, e.g. to buy from Cobi

I made a Bf 109 with Lego bricks but Is quit good.
Schiffe und Panzer find ich super von Cobi.
Bei den Flugzeugen ist mir der Maßstab zu klein. Die gefallen mir persönlich irgendwie alle nicht.

The 109 started life with a Rolls Royce engine in it (a Kestrel) and latterly a Merlin.
After the war, the models of 109 produced in other countries progressed back through Jumo and Rolls-Royce engines! First, the S 199 made in Czechoslovakia had a Jumo 211 engine fitted, this engine, to the familiar twelve-cylinder inverted V pattern of German developed engines, produced similar power to the DB605.
In Spain, the Hispano factory turned out versions of the 109 with the 1,300 Hispano HS-12Z engine. This was considered unsatisfactory and Rolls-Royce Merlin engines of 1,400 hp were fitted instead. These are easily identified by their four-blade propeller, deep chin radiator and the bulges on top of the nose for the cylinder banks in their upright "V" configuration.
I wonder if Cobi will make a post war, Merlin powered version someday?

The Cobi sets look way better now compared to 5 years ago, at least most of them have huge improvements. Ofc, the prices are a little bit higher, but it's understandable as the models look way better and the inflation has gone up.
Depends where you buy it. I've paid 23 euro, the same price as the last one. 😉
@@kattepis6214 Ye, the planes have almost the same price, but I was talking about Cobi models in general. The Tiger 131 for example is more expansive now. It is also a little bit bigger and better detailed, so it explains the increase in price.

The shape of this model is horrible, look at the jonction between the numbre 4 and the wings. Thre's a big gap !
