- We are in Munich / Germany, the capital of the German state of Bavaria. As a major tourist destination we walk around Munich often: www.youtube.co...
On this summer evening we see the outer city, starting around the northern subway station "Universität" and then walk all the way down south to the old town and Gärtnerplatz. By the time the night comes way we see have seen a bit of a different side of Munich that students and locals are more familiar with.

Thank you! For Munich there are a few more interesting walks on the channel. This one here shows an area that mostly students of the university will know, though I go to the more touristy old town later. Due to the restricted traveling in 2020/21 I sure covered a lot of Germany. This year will be a bit Croatia while some newer Germany walks also get posted here

Yeah, the thumbnail is from a photo and shows how much can be done when there is more dynamic range. The Pocket 2 (or my settings?) made the video either too dark or blew out skies. In the future I may film more with the Pocket 1 or see what else I can do. The D-Cinelike profile introduced more issues than it solved with keyframe-flickers. I just ordered the wide angle lens for the Pocket 2 which will create some slight fisheye effect so it may be better in some situations. We'll see
@@poptravelorg I thought about buying the wide angle lens, too. I might check it out in your walks then, hah. I have the same problem with Pocket 2 footage being not too suitable for thumbnails - a bummer. Cheers!

Hey, could you walk in Siegen too?
If I get to spend a while around Cologne/Bonn, I may make a trip to Siegen. There are a few walks in Siegen on UA-cam already as well. I personally haven't been there though last time in Wuppertal I considered it... We'll see.
Walking in Rostock ?
Rostock is still on the last. Last June I went to Greifswald ( ua-cam.com/video/o_CbYp-mn0E/v-deo.html ) and then went to Stralsund ( ua-cam.com/video/IbiDUfCNgRA/v-deo.html ) and Wismar ( ua-cam.com/video/QRqdUotMoUU/v-deo.html ) on my way to Schwerin ( ua-cam.com/video/eP2gC6-Z4IA/v-deo.html ). So many places of that area are covered. I hope to get around there once again for the Rostock Old Town. Maybe later this summer or even winter for some different atmosphere
