  • Join flower farmer and florist Georgie Newbery of Common Farm Flowers in Somerset south west England as she makes a gorgeous twiggery pokery heart for a Valentine idea. Instead of using any of the 200,000.000 roses imported to the UK from across the world for Valentine's let's use what we have in the garden, twigs bursting into life, and make something beautiful for our valentines, or even our palentines, which won't cost the earth either financially or in real terms.
If you're booking a place on our workshops or demos the website will ask you to choose a delivery date - any date will do! And if you can't join our sessions live then you are still very welcome to book as we send the recording and notes of the workshop out to everyone afterwards, so you can download the session and refer back to it as and when you need to.
For an ad free version of this, all the info re 'the project,' and all Georgie's new clips with extra tips, news and regular live at 5s, do join her UA-cam club. You can join up here: / @theflowerfarmer

Love your project! Happy Galentine’s Day, my friend. I use a spring clamp ($1.50 from hardware store) to help me hold things. They are necessary in basket making! And they come right off after their job is done revealing only natural materials. Give it a go! 💗

That's pretty. 😊 Will the catkins continue to develop as its in water? That'll look amazing. 😊
You must be really strong! I did a willow weaving course a few years ago and it was like spending 3 hours in the gym! 😂.
