You don't want to chase them out . You keep them hungry . And to get them out you throw a little feed rite outside the cage so they come out on their own .
Tipplers and racers are super hard to break in, they never forget their first home. Try clipping their wing feathers a tiny bit, it doesn't hurt them at all

When they come out first time you have give they time go real easy do not scare them at all let them come out by them selve you can put some feed out so they come out let walk around the yard get to know the place !
A good way to break in your first birds is cut down the wing feathers about 2 inches, and just sit with them and with in a few weeks their feathers grow back and they'll all stay

You should have put a cage on top of coop with them in for 4 hours each day so they know area
You always let out a half hr to 45 min before dark.. for a week then release in the day

I would recommend u let them out 1 hr before it gets dark for 3 days...then let them out in the morning

I agree! the ones the paired up stayed. I lost 4 and then 2 came back couple of days later. I definitely know more now than back then.
