I am learning so much from you and others that buy BULQ. I have yet to buy from liquidators or do my own sourcing but hope to in the month of March. Thank you for your honesty.
Stuff that is sold to you as salvage is not new by law. It can look like new, or be like new, but it can not be New or advertised/sold as such. Just because you think it looks new it is still salvaged. Overstock items sold to you as new/unused/never sold is acceptable but there are other implications. If you get a piece of electronics as overstock or salvage, buy it from Amazon (or whomever) and then resell, what recourse does the buyer have respective to warranty? Many manufacturers require a receipt to facilitate a warranty repair or exchange and many will not honor the warranty if the item is not purchased through an authorized retailer/reseller. This is in place to stop this very thing and protect the resellers who are authorized, from price dumping. Equipment that is salvaged and bares a serial number are generally tracked so if you bought such an item as salvage and resell as new, if the buyer has an issue 4 months down the road and tries to contact the manufacture for warranty work...likely that serial number will come up as "disposed at retailer" and thus not covered. Material that is salvaged is tracked for tax purposes since it is a right off. Yes, much of what you have you can sell it on Ebay for pennies as "sold as is" and you can recoup some of your money. But be honest and don't sell as new.
"Hooked on Pickin' Amazon FBA Seller 10 months ago I almost always sell new. unless i get it from a second hand store like goodwill or consignment shops." Quoted from a diff video
you say "mostly" so you can not be caught in a straight out lie, basically you should be a politician, almost always, mostly, sometimes, are all terms you can change your mind at any moment for whatever whim. So you dont go by any of that, just things you are saying on videos to seem more conciencious, when you are really buying things we could get ourselves, raising the prices and adding shipping 2 dollar current star wars figures, you can sell for 15 - 20 come onn!! maybe if they thought they are the originals, current ones will be worth nothing in the coming years.
Another implication, if you buy any electronics, appliances or tools from this supplier, even if she says it is, "new old stock", "new unopened" or simply "new" you run a significant risk of buying something that is unwarrantable by the manufacturer. Respective to electronic name brand items, you have to buy the product from an authorized reseller in order to use the warranty. In most cases, if you read the fine print, it clearly states that a warranty in not transferable, so if Amazon is the reseller and this lady buys it from them as "over stock or salvage" she is the original owner in the eyes of the agreement...not the person that buys it from her. ALSO I know for a fact, that on ebay, of you are selling "New" or "Like new" products that are normally sold through authorized resellers, ebay can and will close your listing and give you a warning. They have agreements with many manufacturers that any products that state "New" in the description are flagged and reviewed. Of course it is always buyer beware, but the implication is that if you buy something on Amazon, you are getting a product that comes from an authorized reseller. If she is selling salvaged products on Amazon, in the eyes of the buyer, the implication is that they are buying new warrant-able products. Not sure why Amazon is okay with this type of activity of buying salvaged merch that was purchased through them, and then resold on their site. They gave to know this. Ebay, yes, you know that you can buy the same product as used, like new or even from an authorized reseller...you should know to look for the condition in the listing. But with Amazon, I am unclear why she can sell anything she procures this way, to resell on Amazon???? When you set up your Amazon store, are you representing yourself as a "second hand or salvage product" reseller?
I was just wondering. Would it not be better to just lower prices on items to the break even point if they haven't sold for a long time? That way you could get rid of the stuff and not be out any money. It would save a lot of time and you could focus on sending new items and making more money.
I've looked through your videos and cant seem to find how you track everything....inventory lab? Go Daddy? Excel spreadsheet? This has been my biggest issue in attempting to grow. I cant figure out how to track things and keep organized. Thanks in advance for any input!
Hi Heather, Do you have a particular tracking method to track your recalls? I'm trying to keep up with what I requested and have received so far. Thank you in advance!
Thanks! Im going to get them shipped back. No reason to have them destroyed aka sold for a profit through amazon. i can just sell them on ebay. if they stay them for a whole year even who cares, eventually they get money.
Actually, this flipping hobby is fun. It can make tons of money while doing something active that you like. I once viewed it like you do, but money talks.
I've learned a lot just by watching your videos! I am a new subscriber too! I only sell on eBay, I don't know how to sell on Amazon! Never have any luck on Offer Up, Letgo, or craigslist! What is a Amazon FBA seller???
I noticed you have a lot of inexpensive items on the table. How do you profit more than a buck or two on glue sticks and stuff like that? Just curious.
Hooked on Pickin' Amazon FBA Seller...I would love to see you put out an informative video. I'm just getting ready to start my business and have learned about Etsy, and of course there's eBay but I haven't found any solid/reliable info on the ins and outs of Amazon. I think you're the right one for the task. 😁 Love your videos
Lara Ashcroft I've been working on my inventory and am ready to go. I've been doing FB Marketplace but no one seems to ship. Just local sales. So it's Ebay for me. Aso I'm no genius with money I feel like I need a bookkeeper! And I know I need a separate account for PayPal, checking account?
Is there a return platform that will retrieve the items and post them for sale on a diacounted price ,also if you had a service that handles your returs is this an option I am in need of that.
You have to go textbooks or OOP treasures to really see good profit. Always verify before purchase. The revision racket in universities isn't uniform and you can make a ton on textbooks by taking in what's outdated locally and selling it to the college that hasn't updated.
I'm really interested in this type of business....I really need something I can do from home to pay the bills....just curious is it a pretty reliable income?? or really iffy??
I depend on glorified "junquers"/garage saler/fleamarketers. I depend on them for all the discontinued or hard to find items that I need for my family.I also come from a long line of them. I have found gold, silver, and diamonds, including a set of sterling silverware for 10.00, in boxes at garage sales. I try to buy either 'used or like new' first, to help curb some of the commercial waste. Vintage kitchenware is much sturdier and even lasts longer than new, including small appliances. Back in the 60's the local dump was the equivalent of ebay's 'as is'. My grandma called it "the fire sale".
You seem to be religious. “Jesus Wins”. And with that being said why not take a small loss and donate most of that stuff to homeless shelters or woman shelters. Where woman left abusive relationships with nothing more than their close on their backs and their children. That’s would be a very great thing.
You are awesome, I've learned so much from you!! Keep up the great work in sharing your knowledge. Its very much appreciated.
Thanks for the encouragement

Hi Heather,
Do you have a particular tracking method to track your recalls? I'm trying to keep up with what I requested and have received so far. Thank you in advance!
Why couldn’t you put some of that stuff in mystery boxes and sell on eBay. I know some people buy mystery boxes.
it is just not something i pursue
Thanks! Im going to get them shipped back. No reason to have them destroyed aka sold for a profit through amazon.
i can just sell them on ebay. if they stay them for a whole year even who cares, eventually they get money.

Hi, I got an item sent from "Amazon returns, amazon way FIFE KY11 8st GB.." Does it mean that anybody returned an item I got later ?
I only sell on eBay. Craigslist can be tricky for selling items. Lots of cheapskates there.
i agree
Love your videos!!
I noticed you have a lot of inexpensive items on the table. How do you profit more than a buck or two on glue sticks and stuff like that? Just curious.
sometimes i make my money back on other items and keep the small stuff for myself and my own office supplies
Wish Amazon had a donate button instead of a destroy one!! just saying.......
that would be awesome!!!
Do you have a video on how to setup a amozan store and setup return to

instead of shipping back or destroying the item, can you just leave the item there and pay a storage fee?
yes you can but once it is passed 6 months or a hear they charge you much higher long term storage fees and sometimes even discontinue your listing.
Is there a return platform that will retrieve the items and post them for sale on a diacounted price ,also if you had a service that handles your returs is this an option I am in need of that.
no i just sell them on a different platform
Why is your video so blurry?
Would I be able to get on your return shipment list where I could buy bulk from you pertaining to the overstock items you have? Thanks!
maybe
What do you mean by being charged storage fee's?

Does Ebay have their own?
Do you ship your items to amazon for free?
no i pay to ship them but at a discounted rate and then when it sells amazon pays the shipping cause it is at the warehouse.
That high pitch sounds your camera, mic or whatever makes is killing my ears when watching yer vids.
I'm really interested in this type of business....I really need something I can do from home to pay the bills....just curious is it a pretty reliable income?? or really iffy??
