For 1st 15 mins of this video its just Ranveer speaking & I just can't understand how Humble Abhijeet Sir is that he kept on listening to him so sincerely though he must be knowing everything and much more to it what he is saying without disturbing him for once..!! A good interview doesn't only need a good guest but a good host as well. As a matter of fact, a better host actually. The way Ranveer conducts these sessions with any guest whatsoever is so interesting. The comfort that is created with the guest, getting onto depths of talks, asking the right questions, the presence of mind. it's so interesting. Hope this channel hits many millions soon.

@Abhay Shah Abhijt calls Ramayana and Mahabharata as history, Devdutt calls it myths. Do I need to say more?

    • @advaithbhasi
      @advaithbhasi 2 роки тому +6

I have read Devdutt's Pattnaik's retelling of mahabharata and he has adressed certain things in a logical way like how the story of the fish who was a cursed Apsara swallowed the Semen and upon opening the fish there were two children is just a fancy way of saying how kings sired bastards but still wanted to look virtuous and this is a way of approaching everything with a questioning mind and prioritizing reason and facts over blind belief. But other than that I was really pissed off on the way he rejected the question saying it's fiction with no sense of respect to the others thought and that's not how a wise man especially someone who has spent so much time studying these texts should react like.

    • @KejriwalBhakt
      @KejriwalBhakt 2 роки тому +33

@@advaithbhasi Polygamy is being addressed in Mahabharata and is pretty obvious. Saying the kings had bastards implies the rigidity in society over having more than 1 wives. Bastard is pretty intense word in Indian context. Its not logical but his perversion whichhas lead him to write such shitpost. He is more political than a writer. Take for an example Aryan Khan case. This dude tries garnering sympathy by writing : "Ajj navratri ke din ek "Gauri" ka putra jail mein hai". He was tryna say that Gauri Khan is Godesses Durga and Aryan is being falsely charged? This dude doesnt have balls to counter Neeraj Atri and Mr. Malhotra. They have challenged him openly. He is a sham and plain propagandist.
As for our holy books, even I think that whatever is written is an exaggeration of events. Either our ancestors were aliens or had access to some divine knowledge. Because except these 2 scenarios nothing expalins the illogical stuffs.
What I believe is our books are symbolic. Our ancestors were smart enough to weave interesting stories around the life's teaching so that it can be propagated far and wide. I mean with Ram as the centre piece, once can draw insirations from him. He stood against everything that was evil even by todays standards. But iss Ch**** ko bass apna propaganda chalana hai isliye iski logic se bhi iske gadhepaan hone ka sboot milta hai

Yes agreed as Abhijit sir said there is a cultural and religious change, and this disparity will be there. There ideologies are different their believes are different...
And coming towards a point to interaction with a person away from border you do minimal talks and that to which is not sufficient to know ones mindset and with sports everyone can be bonded not that only Pakistanis😂

    • @randomplebian461
      @randomplebian461 2 роки тому +3

Agreed. We have lots of cultural similarities with our fractured civilisation's brothers & sisters but that means nothing when one party is willing to have us massacred. As a citizen of a border town, with a relatively porous border, I know average Pakistani is just like us. But that should not blind you to the fact that Kashmiri Hindus thought so too, until they suddenly saw their friendly neighbours priortise something else over their friends' lives.
You should hate the idea that creates the hatred & divisions, not people, but also be wary of the followers of that idea.

    22:50 / 30:30 I slightly disagree with this part.
The use of the word 'YOUR' in the statement "feel patriotic towards YOUR people, YOUR community, YOUR cultures" itself means that you have to draw a boundary in your mind in order to identify what's YOURS and what's NOT YOURS. It is not a physical, tangible boundary like international borders on land, but to a large extent it is basically the same thing. And that's the thing about human psychology. Most people need a distinct boundary of one kind or another to have a sense of belonging and a clear understanding of who they are, where they are coming from, where they are going and what their purpose in the society is.
That’s why I think until and unless the consciousness of every individual rises to a level where he/she is comfortable adopting a universal identity (or at least begin to move in that direction) the man-made boundaries on the map and a sense of nationalistic patriotism among citizens are going to remain a relevant and useful tool for managing the human population.
And it's not a task of one "once in a millenia" leader like Kanishka or Chola to bring that drastic change in the consciousness of whole population. It would require a collective effort from probably millions of people, not just on mental (intellectual) level, but on spiritual level too.

if soldiers don't feel patriotic towards their borders... they won't be called soldiers. What important is that soldiers need to adhere to is their their humanity. what Shivaji Maharaj's principles were. the Mughuls and Nina's invaded and destroyed our culture and mistreated our women, but he never treated the mutual women the same way. he never destroyed mutual culture. that is what is needed. you need to adhere to your principles and ethics no matter what.

Exactly. Ranveer doesn't really get what the ideology of the Hindutva is. He says baha'i is great, but here we have the father of baha'i which the establishment has been demonizing since ages in the name of colonio-philic secularism & skewed-identitarianism. Infact, this father of baha'i doesn't have it's temples freed from government control. Imagine that?

Ask more about history(the topic of the video) rather than ranting about love, the golden times, future possible reunification.
Dont keep sticking to a specific topic for too long and going in circles and keep the flow going.

India’s education as it was before the British systematically destroyed it.....
The first school in England opened in 1811 . At that time India had 732000 Gurukuls.* 😳
Find out how our Gurukuls got closed. How did Gurukul learning end.
First will tell you what disciplines were taught in Gurukul culture (in the Sanatan culture) !
Most Gurukuls taught the following subjects.
    01 Agni Vidya (Metallurgy)
    02 Vayu Vidya (Wind)
    03 Jal Vidya (Water)
    04 Antriksh Vidya (Space Science)
    05 Prithvi Vidya (Environment)
    06 Surya Vidya (Solar Study)
07 Chandra and Lok Vidya (Lunar Study)
    08 Megh Vidya (Weather Forecast)
09 Dhaatu Urja Vidya (Battery energy)
    10 Din aur Raat Vidya.
    12 Srishti Vidya (Space Research)
    13 Khagol Vigyan (Astronomy)
    14 Bhugol Vidya (Geography)
    15 Kaal Vidya (Time studies)
16 Bhoogarbh Vidya (Geology & Mining)
17 Gemstones and Metals (Gems & Metals)
    18 Aakarshan Vidya (Gravity)
    19 Prakash Vidya (Energy)
    20 Sanchaar Vidya (Communication)
    21 Vimaan Vidya (Plane)
    22 Jalayan Vidya (Water Vessels)
23 Agneya Astra Vidya (Arms & Ammunition)
24 Jeevavigyaan Vidya (Biology, Zoology, Botany)
    25 Yagna Vidya (Material Sic)
    * This is the talk of scientific education. Now let's talk about professional and technical disciplines that were covered!*
    26 Vyapaar Vidya (Commerce)
    27 Krishi Vidya (Agriculture)
28 Pashu Paalan Vidya (Animal Husbandry)
    29 Pakshi Paalan (Bird Keeping)
    30 Yaan Vidya (Mechanics)
    32 Vehicle Designing
33 Ratankar (Gems & Jewellery Designing)
    36 Kumhaar vidya (Pottery)
    37 Laghu (Metallurgy & Blacksmith)
    38 Takkas
    39 Rang Vidya (Dyeing)
    40 Khatwakar
    41 Rajjukar (Logistics)
    42 Vaastukaar Vidya (Architecture)
43 Khaana Banane ki Vidya (Cooking)
    44 Vaahan Vidya (Driving)
    45 Waterways Management
    46 Indicators (Data Entry)
    47 Gaushala Manager (Animal Husbandry)
    48 Baagvaani (Horticulture)
    49 Vann Vidya (Forestry)
    50 Sahyogee (Covering Paramedics)
All this education was taught in Gurukul, but with time, when Gurukul disappeared, this knowledge was made to disappear by the British! It started with Macaulay. Today, the future of the youth of our country is being destroyed by the Macaulay method.
How did Gurukul culture end in India?
The introduction of Convent education ruined Gurukuls. Indian Education Act was formed in 1835 (revised in 1858). It was drafted by 'Lord Macaulay'.
Macaulay conducted a survey of education system here while many Britishers had given their reports about India's education system. One of the British officer was G.W. Luther and the other was Thomas Munro! Both of them had surveyed different areas at different times. Luther, who surveyed North India (Uttar Bhaarat), wrote that there is 97 % literacy here and Munro, who surveyed South India (Dakshin Bhaarat), wrote that here there is 100% literacy.
Macaulay had clearly said that if India (Bhaarat) is to be enslaved forever, its ′′*indigenous and cultural education system* ′′ must be completely demolished and replaced with ′′ English education system ′′ and only then will Indians be physically Indians, but mentally become English. When they leave the convent schools or English universities, they will work in the interest of British.
Macaulay is using an idiom - ′′ Just as a farm is thoroughly ploughed before a crop is planted, so must it be ploughed and brought in the English education system. ′′ That's why he first declared Gurukuls illegal. Then he declared Sanskrit illegal and set the Gurukuls on fire, beat the teachers in it and put them in jail.
Till 1850 there were ' 7 lakh 32 thousand ' Gurukuls & 7,50,000 villages in India. Meaning almost every village had a Gurukul and all these Gurukuls used to be 'Higher Learning Institutes' in today's language. 18 subjects were taught in all of them and these people of Gurukul Samaj used to run these together, not by the king.
    Education was imparted free.
Gurukuls were abolished and English education was legalized and the first convent school opened in Calcutta. That time it was called 'free school'. Under this law, Calcutta University, Bombay University & Madras University were created. These three slavery-era universities are still in the country!
Macaulay had written a letter to his father. It is a very famous letter, in it he writes: ′′ These convent schools will bring out children who look like Indians but are English by brain and they don't know anything about their country. They won't know anything about their culture, they won't have any idea about their traditions, they will not know their idioms, when such children are there in this country, even if the British go away, English will not leave this country.′′ The truth of the letter written at that time is clearly visible in our country even today. See the misery created by this act. We feel inferior of ourselves who are ashamed to speak our own language & recognise our own culture.
A society that is cut off from its mother tongue never flourishes and this was Macaulay’s strategy! Today's youth here knows more about Europe than India. Considers Indian culture not so cool, but imitates Western country.
What a pity. It's high time we all awaken & reclaim our great culture & heritage.....including our ideas of ‘inclusivity’, ‘tolerance’ and Vasudeva Kutumbaka

From 25 to 30 mins of this video, Abhijit said that reunification of India with neighbouring countries will happen in 100years or so through strong centralised leadership. But, what I believe is that we are going to get reunified in a decentralised manner with no nation / border restrictions. It's as same as what Balaji Srinivasan's vision of Network States.
I thought this won't be possible but now I'm confident when someone like Abhijit says that meaning of nation will go extinct sooner.
