Was a nice year. Got me into stamp collecting. Found good info and felt inspired by other collectors like you.
Maybe I see you in Essen, Germany. I plan on going there but need to see if someone comes along. Keep up the good work Pete and Sheila. Happy Nee Year to both of you!

Cheers mate! Well done. Thanks to you I revised my British collection and finally got a grip on those pesky penny reds. Thank you for revealing the truth behind the mystery.

I watch Beck as well. Scott doesn't do justice to a GB collection and leaves out a lot of the collecting even with their specialty albums. What I want to ask in your opinion what is the better type or company albums for collecting GB?

have one topic that I'm not sure of. I purchased a large Canada collection from an estate early in 22'.something i noticed and have looked for and see something which is not collected in US is blocks of 4. I have noticed is GB collectors with blocks of 4 no selvedge with no special markings and same goes for some or many European collectors. curious why that is ? Canada does have selvedge with markers of some kind which would make it a different type of collecting and can see issues in blocks of 4 being collectable as such. The same goes for US stamp collecting of plate blocks. I have not seen any explanation of why this type of collecting. I was trading with some someone outside US and asked if they wanted multiples of some stamps we discussed because i had large blocks of some. Their answer was yes they would take any blocks of 4 US without PL # or anything. so my next question was were they meaning se-tenant issues and their answer was they would take Plate blocks but were wanting blocks of 4 single type stamps. since we don't collect that way we go towards collecting the individual ,se-tenant block, booklet pane or plate block it seemed a little strange. that is one of the reasons I'm asking

I suppose it's a question of preference, with my GB QEII stamps I started collecting normal blocks of 4, but then realised that corner blocks with plate numbers, printers name, or traffic lights (colour blocks) were more interesting.
