I Do not condone what Ricky did but if only every drug dealer acted and treated there “business” the way Ricky Ross did bcuz I firmly believe the war on drugs is endless (there is always going to be a market for it with consenting adults ... just like how u can’t make someone stop smoking or drinking .... and no gun is put to the heads of drug users) I think that the war on drugs implies it can be won or lost which is a little pie in the sky for me as evidenced by the billions it’s cost and the decades it’s lasted and intact the millennia its lasted it will never go away but if you could separate violence from drug dealing like Ross did then that eliminates the casualties of the drug war and the only people hurting themselves are the consenting

It's all about supply & demand in addition to profitability when it comes to generating income. Righteousness isn't profitable. If one wants to do righteous things with their "dirty money," then what's the problem if it was legitimate?
I disdain infidelity, swinging, drinking, drug abuse, and prositutition (which I believe should be legalized) but these activities are what make the Hotel industry, which I work in, very profitable. I'm there to provide a service and live my life on my terms!
No doubt this man was involved in some awful stuff. But there is also no doubt that he cops to the real and has always spoke out against it. He never glorified himself or the lifestyle.
At some point if people never allow a man to redeem himself from his sins, then they are really giving people who have done wrong no reason to do right. Gotta give guilty men room to help, stop being on a high horse.
