I run a t2 se with boost Process, its incredible the depths and signals it finds, plus all t2s love silver, this really looks to be the one to buy today. Thanks for the tip on the batteries too Graeme.
Brilliant machine mate, I love mine easy to use and packs a real punch. I’ve found 2 gold rings, hammered and tonnes of milled silver with mine. Very very stable as you point out and great amongst the iron. No better machine in the price range in my opinion. For pasture the bp comes into its own. I’m tempered to use mine in that mode all the time now. Great informative video mate as always. Thanks for sharing that experience and advice 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Great review thanks .I have teknetics euro pro and when a good target is near iron or discriminated out trash it will give a signal very much like your roman hoard one which I always dig and always find something good .The recovery speed is very good on this brand of detectors and getting to know this type of signal only comes with practice .Thanks again for the excellent review.
Real impressive demo Graeme. This machine certainly seems excellent value across the board... Even though the deep signal was scratchy, I think the majority of detectorists would check it out on tone alone, if only by taking out a spades depth of soil to find out if the signal got stronger and stabilised itself.... 'If in doubt, dig it', is the general, go to option : after all, it's what Unearths those wonderful elusive hoards at depth . We all of us have our 'brand loyalties', and machines of choice, and fair play, however, it's no surprise to me and many others, no doubt, that so many T2 owners swear by their machines' capabilities. Take care my friend ; all the best.
I really like the Teknetics t2 Except for two things that in my opinion would only boost the sales of the machines #1 Put in a backlight, when it gets close to dark and you are not done detecting it is near impossible to view the screen ...#2 Have the warranty transferable..right now the warranty is only good for the original buyer unlike Minelab where there is a shorter warranty But the warranty is transferable. You got some pull mate, ask them to put in a backlight and have the warranty transferable, it would only boost their sales.
@@Dawgs241 I bought one back then and love it but must admit, I know I am not yet fully using it properly and so getting the best out of it. @@EnlightenedPatriot1 when I first began metal detecting I got extremely frustrated. After digging a hole, I would take a hand full of dirt and wave it under my coil. @@Dawgs241 That is funny as I went though the same process! Now the ring sometimes has to come off (not an easy job, a permanent fixture for over 50 years) but then I worry about loosing it! My wife recently found me some great leather boots with thick soles, no metal toecap, side zip AND leather laces at about 1/3 price in a sale. I seldom need to pass soil/sand over the coil now with having a good. rechargeable pinpointer. My main problem is that the T2 being such a sensitive machine, wherever I lay it down to pinpoint the hole, it is constantly buzzing signals. Now I learn that frequency is changeable to help avoid that so it is another setting to try. G.L & H.H.
Hi Graeme, out of interest why do you ground balance on sensitive 25 and then raise it. I've always ground balanced at higher sensitivity, usually around 75.
9:25 on video hearing iron and good signal.. How many would dig the mixed signal? What they like round coke mate? Its not disrespect either mate showing all machines you sell going over the hoard. would be customers and manufacturers need to know how their machine measure up against the competition. Numbers were bouncing about on the screen so would the Tecnectics users have classed it as coke and walked off and would they have spent as much time sweeping over a target if it was out in the field. Im not really one for these types of test mainly because the tester knows where the item buried is. Be good to see how the mega deep seeker more expensive machines do such as CTX and even the Deus high frequency detector copes. The T2 has certainly alerted me to how far they physics is been pushed these days. A lot different now to the days of the Arado.

Hi Graeme , it has to be said the T2+ or the T2 S/E perform really well i regularly use the Boost Programme and it does what it says on the tin LOL , it finds deep targets !! there is no doubt about it , sometimes when i am digging a target in the BP mode i think to myself ( how much bloody deeper do i have to dig LOL ) the other thing i like about the T2 S/E it has a 2C programme that cuts out the iron audio altogether , anyway a good test mate and shows it's true capabilities , take care pal ATB Rob .

The nox is another good machine but with a big learning curve and the battery pack is sealed so no spare battery and when it dies it's back to the factory. Stick with the T2.

Here in the uk we hit coin targets at 12" in disc mode with the T2, great machine!

I purchased one a year ago and I love it. The T2 will hold it's own against some of these $1000 + detectors. I love it for its power and simplicity.
Good luck out there!
I am going to do what you said about ground balancing. I never thought about turning sensitivity down while doing it.

The lower the sens the easier it is for the machine to comply mate, especially handy with aftermarket coils
