- 1/12 HG P-801 8x8 w/modified suspension and better transmitter. Truck performs amazing everytime I drive it. Can't believe the capabilities and weight of this behemoth. It can go anywhere it wants to. The open diff are the only thing limiting what it can do. Might put thick diff fluid in differential to help out more. Will have lights and sounds. Currently building a trailer to tow a tank. Might convert it to 802 rear end for the hitch.
That truck climbs a lot better than I expected,considering the huge overhang at the front.

How did you modify the suspension? It performs very good.
Took springs out of rear shocks. Might intall the when I add trailer/ weight to rear end

I have an 802. Page 14 of the manual states that 2S or 3S can be used, it has a voltage regulator. I have been using a 3S 5000mah with no ill effects. Also fitted 120mm Rock Swamper tyres to increase ground clearance. Steering servo's have been upgraded to 23kg, the standard ones are nothing like what it says on the casing. Rear diffs locked with epoxy, fronts will be done with silicone to reduce stress.
