The tides are caused by the gravitational forces exerted on the earth by the moon, and to a lesser extent, the sun. Tides have nothing to do with the movement of land.
You actually will not find dinosaur fossils here, the fossils here are up to 250 million years before dinosaurs ever walked the earth. Its really cool, it was mostly plants and some reptile like creatures and some small Carboniferous creatures. Lots if coal deposits too.

So nothing to do with the Moon. Also freshwater lakes dont have tides, or so small tides that even the Great Lakes are considered non-tidal. High tide on other side of the Earth at same time cant be explained by Moon anyway.
Lake Michigan has a tidal range of approx. 6 cm. Usually overpowered by other meteorological effects, but clearly visible when levels are averaged over long periods. High tide on the far side can be easily explained by the moon - as long as you understand science.

Flat Earth cannot explain the tides. It may explain the portion of the Earth facing the moon experiencing high tides... but how about the portion opposite to that??

The moon passes overhead both coastal cities at about the same time. Yet the difference in tidal ranges is huge.
