I have a prayer request for a coworker, her name is Bekah and she was in a bad car wreck and is in a medically induced coma, the doctors are going to try and wake her up tomorrow, i ask for prayers that it goes well and for healing, she has a long road ahead.

Man, I appreciate you so much! I just moved to Canton Oklahoma, about an hour and a half north west of Oklahoma City. I’m just not used to all of these severe weather threats so I’m a little on edge. It’s so nice to have access to such in-depth projection and analysis to help me feel prepared and aware. I grew up here almost 40 years ago originally. We had access to nothing like this. We just had to wait for the sirens to go off and usually we’d be at the public pool! God bless you sir and thank you for your great work!

Mitch great work sir. I’m a Wichita resident. Wouldn’t be surprised to see a risk escalation tomorrow morning spanning Wichita to about Stillwater, OK. We should have an abundance of low level moisture combined with sufficient daytime heating to fuel and sustain storms within a favorable shear environment. What are your thoughts on SPC defining a “high risk” area tomorrow?

Hey Mitch, does that omega or cyclone site you mentioned track you and does it basically act like a personal weather radio on your phone and sound an alarm you when your in a dangerous situations
I'm happy to answer that. I have the Alpha version of Radar Omega. You can definitely set warnings and watches for your specific area, with optional audible alarms for all the severe weather categories ... tornado, flood, wind, etc. Very customizable. The only caveat is that you have to have the app running on your phone at all times with the sound up. We experienced weather-culture shock somewhat when we moved from Phoenix to SW Missouri, and this app has been an invaluable tool for peace of mind. Kudos, too, to Mitch for his excellent daily reports. I usually start my day with him.

I hated being in areas that I was unfamiliar with and them saying on the radio where they were and I had no idea what they were talking about. I left Southern California 21 years ago and yep culture shock but I love it were about 2 1/2 hours from Branson. We always watch Kevin and Sara on living homestead, there from Arizona and now live around Ava Missouri. Yes, Mitch keep up the great work, you do an awesome job

Kevin and Sarah's channel, Living Traditions Homestead, was a big influence on us picking the Branson area to move to when we knew we needed to get out of the big city. So far, we are extremely happy with our choice. We love Branson. We just wish there were more than just two seasons here: Winter, and tick and chigger season. 😃

Hello Mitch, I was wondering if there are any career opportunities for anyone in meteorology who aren’t interested in math classes. As someone who is interested in weather patterns but isn’t very good at math
I am pretty sure you have to go through some intense math classes to get that degree, which is why I don't have one lol
