I may have to put the reso back in as I'm finding it a bit too loud with the new muffler and mid pipe. Yeah sounds cool but I'll be using my bike to commute as well as adventture ride and if i have an early start at 5am I'm going to piss off a lot of people. Plus its attracts the police. What I need is a longer muffler for a deeper note and extra long db killer which I can wrap muffler matting around it to get get it at least down to 90db. Currently I'm over 110.3db
I have the same problems on long tours. Longer db killer in the end of the slip on will not work in the way you want. I tried it without success. You have to use db killer in front of the muffler (between muffler and midpipe). I have five different ones and can change from stock like sound to extreme loud. Search at aliexpress for `Zsdtrp 50,8mm 60mm Motorrad Universal db killer`.
No, there is no loss. Also not for the other user who done it. Subjective its a better throttle but i may be it depends on the better sound :) I dont have done a dyno test.
it is around 4 kg. Sound also best for me but is to loud on longer rides. Now i work with different db-killer setups in the middle and the end of the pipe.
I also dont hear the stock exhaust with speed. With resonator remove you hear it only a bit. With resonator remove and without db killer in shark slip on exhaust it is reallly heavy, so i use setup with slip on and modified db killer inside (in the middle, not in the end).
No, because the catalyst in mainpipe is untouched. Full cat-remove is another thing. The resonator only damp the sound. With remove you have much less heat on the rear spring.

That shark exaust sounds great even with the db killer.

Model C is quiet, Model D is louder.
@@habermann5957 Ordered a db killer and going in front of the muffler. Cheap so worth the try.
Great video! Where did you get the mid-pipe?
AliExpress. ca 15 dollar
Did you notice any power loss after removing the resonator?

Great work
How much did the slip-on weigh vs the stock muffler?
Great video. Res delete and slip on without db killer sounds best to me. Any idea how much weight savings?

Sorry about gopro 😂
A humble request 😢❤
plzz try duke's exhaust on adv 390 plzzz brother
it will fit but i do not have one :)
will there be any kind of drop in mileage after the removal of resonator with stock silencer?
No, it has no effect. The catalyst is not removed, it is in the front.
Is it true that bike feels more powerful after that?
Only a bit. I think it i subjective becaue of the better er sound. You get not more highspeed.
Does it drone on the highway now? I feel like I barely here the stock exhaust at 65 with earplugs in.

@@habermann5957 was their any torque or power loss with just the resonator removal...or perhaps power gain?

Das Überbrückungsrohr in Edelstahl gibt es bei Aliexpress um die 30€, Lieferzeit ca. 10 Tage.
